The Pictures are Missing!

I just need to remind myself to upload some pictures. I’ve got pictures of Easter and Rebecca’s birthday.

I don’t think I wrote about Rebecca’s party Saturday. I had heard from 3 of her friends that they were coming, I was secretly relieved because that’s a nice manageable number. (The party was at our house). If the weather had cooperated, they would have had plenty to do outside but as it was, it was chilly and windy and muddy so outside was no-go. The first girl to come was actually one who had not RSVP’d, but I like her parents so I was glad she came. That was Jaivion. Then Adrienne came, I like her mom too. Jaivion’s step-mom dropped her off but Adrienne’s mom stayed. Then Victoria’s dad dropped her off. Morgan was coming late because she had a soccer game. So after Victoria came, we did the first activity which was making foam crowns (I had foam stickers for the crowns and glitter glue). OK, that took 10 mintues. Then I suggested Twister or the karaoke thing or the Dance Dance Revolution DVD game. They got out the karaoke thing and played with that for a few minutes, then I saw them playing Candy Land. Then apparently Rebecca cheated and the others got mad at her and she ran up to her room crying. (My mantra is always, it’s not a birthday party unless the birthday child throws a tantrum). So I got her out of her room and then got out her oversized keyboard that you step on. (kind of like in the movie Big). They played with that for a while, then Morgan came. Finally! We can do cake! So we did cake and ice cream and then opened presents. She got:

From Jaivion, a Barbie Fairytopia doll and DVD game
From Adrienne, a Pucci Pup stuffed puppy in a frou-frou carrying case
From Morgan, a Littlest Pet Shop toy
From Victoria, a High School Musical DVD game
From us, (besides the Target gift card she opened on her birthday) a new bike, a Barnes & Noble gift card, a Nickelodeon Scene It DVD game, & some outdoor toys (hula hoop, balls)
From David’s mom (besides the bath stuff she opened on her birthday) some makeup and 2 T-shirts

Overall it was a nice party and everyone was gone by 4:15 🙂

Ben’s party in May will be just family. I don’t know about Courtney’s party, she requested the water slide again which was pretty fun but maybe not two years in a row. I don’t know.
