Not Happy

I have been in a foul foul mood for…a week? Or so. Ugh I hate it. Usually I am pretty even tempered. Work has me super stressed and I just can’t shake it.

We had a good Easter. The church service was really nice. They always have really good music. David even went to church with us, which was nice. He complained about how long it took. Then we went to his mom’s house, we were supposed to go for lunch and I had told her we’d be there at 1. We got there and she didn’t even have the ham in the oven, then she read the label and it was going to take 2 hours to cook. We ended up eating (lunch!) at 3:30 and stayed there til 6 or so. So I told David he owes me a few more hours of church time!

We had just been to David’s parents for Willow’s birthday on Friday night. My mother-in-law, I swear. So this was Willow’s 14th birthday party. She had balloons with clowns on them and Cars plates & cups for him. He acts like he’s 8 and she treats him like he’s 8. I guess it’s no wonder that her 35 year old son lives at home, before too long she’ll not only be doing her adult son’s laundry, she’ll be doing her adult grandson’s laundry too.

Courtney was in alot of trouble today for how she acted over there after school (my mother-in-law picks up Courtney & Rebecca after school on Mondays & Wednesdays). I secretly sympathize with Courtney though. Willow baits her and she ends up getting in trouble. But then she’s rude to her grandma, which I won’t have (even though it’s hard not to be rude to her sometimes). In the fall David wants to put Benjamin back in regular daycare and fix his schedule so that he can pick up the girls every day. I hope it works out.

I have to study tonight. It feels like the loaves & fishes, the more I study the more there is to study. Less than 5 weeks til my test.

I’m sure that Courtney feels like your MOL favors Willow since he actually lives at her house. I know that I felt that way with my step-cousins. My uncle lived at my grandparents house with my step-cousins for years. I always felt like my grandma loved them more than she loved me and I was her real grandchild. I’m sure she loved us all but when you are little you don’t always have to sense to be rational.

sounds like daycare for them might solve some issue. I cant believe he had CLOWN balloons at 14!
