Nice Break

Having Wednesday off made for a nice break in the week. We should do that every week.

We had a nice holiday. We tried to go see Transformers, but it was sold out. We ended up at the park (which was very muddy, but we took bikes/ trike/scooter so the kids could ride around the paved trail). Then we went swimming at David’s parents, and we ate supper there and watched a movie. I woke up late and went to bed early, so that was a plus.

I taught Courtney how to play Civilization yesterday morning. David & I used to enjoy playing each other but we hadn’t played it in forever. He thought we might set it up on 3 computers and teach Courtney how to play. Then it turned out not to rain, so we decided to go swimming instead. But I had set her up on a single player game just so she could learn a little about it. She was having fun.
