Graduation & Birthday
Yesterday was a big day! First, Rebecca’s kindergarten graduation. She got a perfect attendance award, (one of 5 or 6) then they called all the kids to get their "diploma". Rebecca was very careful to tell us that the diplomas they got were fake. Then the kids all got on stage and sang the school song and did a couple of little poems. It was cute.
Here is Rebecca and David:

After graduation, I went to work and had meetings all day. (snooze) My parents were on their way to San Antonio for a wedding, and so stopped for the night. They were here when I got home from work. We ate dinner, then David’s parents came over for cake & ice cream for Benjamin’s birthday. He got 3 outfits from David’s parents, plus the cutest rubber duckies, one marked like a baseball and one like a soccer ball. My parents got him a SpiderMan 4-wheeler toy and a flashlight, and we got him some GeoTraxx tracks and a Little People dinosaur set (and 2 free DVDs that came with those toys from the Fisher Price website). David’s parents stayed for a couple of hours and we had a good time visiting.
Here is Benjamin with his cake:
I had gotten Spongebob decorations for it, but they were completely stuck to the paper backing and I didn’t want to mess with them, so he had a naked cake.
Today I had taken a vacation day. My mom and I took the girls to school then went to get donuts. My parents left for San Antonio about 9. We ran out in the afternoon to get Benjamin and David haircuts. Today was Pet Day for Courtney’s class, so we took Pepper to school in the afternoon. She did really well. I had also planned to meet the Room Mother (I wrote an entry about her a while ago) to give her my cooler for their class picnic Monday. She turned out to be really nice, and not noticeably very young (one reason she gave for why she was stressed was that people at school look at her funny because she’s young). So other than "tramp stamp" tatoos on her lower back, she didn’t look all that young. And considering both my sisters have those, and they are both over 30, I wouldn’t say those necessarily made her look extremely young.
After school we went to see Shrek the Third. It was cute. We didn’t have very good seats, but I don’t think the kids cared.
I love taking Fridays off, I still have the whole weekend ahead of me.
cute! my cousins are named rebecca and ben:)

tramp stamp”….LMAO, that’s funny. It figures that she didn’t look young. She just sounds like a huge flake. Cute pictures.
