Gloom, Despair, and Agony on Me *edit*

Went out to get my car inspected today. Forgot to tell the guy not to roll my window down, but figured it would be ok because I’ve not been able to get it down at all lately. (For a while it was going down but not up). Came out to my car after they were done and the freakin’ window is down. If I have to drive home in the rain with the window down I will be p-i-s-s-e-d.

Took advantage of the window stuck down to go through McD’s drive through. I like the Bacon Ranch salad, but I like vinaigrette dressing instead of ranch. (Why they don’t just call it a chicken-bacon salad, or club salad, I don’t know.) So I heard the girl yell "She wants vinaigrette with that ranch salad", but when they guy handed me my food I was so busy a) trying not to spill my coke on me because it was too full and splooshing out the lid and b) trying not to spill the salad becaues the lid was not on tight, that I didn’t check the dressing. Get to my desk and see ranch dressing. Aagh. I like ranch dressing, but it’s so much fat, and then there’s this from the ingredients list: corn syrup solids, which sounds yuck anyway but call a spade a spade, it is sugar which I am trying to cut out. Blech.

David just called, he went to try to register Benjamin for daycare for the fall, and he couldn’t pay because they don’t take credit cards. So now I have to stop by there with a check on my way home. What kind of national business (Kindercare) doesn’t take credit cards???

OK, I think I’m done.

Edit: It did rain. We never got the window back up. I am going to suck it up tomorrow and take it to the dealer. We had the whole door apart but couldn’t budge the window. I think it must be the motor, but I thought I could force the window up. I couldn’t.

Oh, and my clothes dryer died.
