Month Six Weigh-In and Measurements

Today I had my 6 month weigh-in and measuring done at Curves. There won’t be any 6 month pictures *sad* because I still don’t have a camera. I had Renee take some pictures on her camera phone, but neither one of us has figured out how to send them from a phone to someone’s email. *laughs* We’re both technologically impaired. =P So maybe pics will come later. Can’t promise nothin’ though.

This last month’s losses were small. But there were still losses, so they still count. And I’m still very proud of myself. I was hoping to get down to 240 this month, but… not yet. I’m getting there. Slowly but surely. Anyways…

Here are the numbers:

9/27/2010

Weight – 242 3/4 pounds (246 last month) = 3 1/4 pounds lost
Bust – 39 in (39 inches last month) = no loss
Waist – 41 1/2 inches (41 1/2 inches last month) = no loss
Abdomen – 51.75 inches (52 inches last month) = 1/4 inch lost
Hips – 52 1/4 inches (52 1/2 inches last month) = 1/4 inch inch lost
Thigh – 29 inches (29 1/2 inches last month) = 1/2 inch lost (times 2)
Arm – 14 inches (14 inches last month) = no loss (times 2)

Body Fat Percentage – 42.0% (42.4 last month) = 0.4% loss
BMI – 38.3 (38.8 last month) = 0.51 loss

According to my weight/measurement report, I lost 2.35 pounds of body fat (of the 3.25 pounds I lost), and 1.5 inches.

My 6 month total weight loss is 42 pounds exactly (31.88 is body fat pounds). And I’ve lost 31 1/4 total inches off my body. My body fat percentage is down 5%, and my BMI is down 6.63.

So, as I said, small losses. But like Renee told me, small losses are to be expected now because my body realizes what is expected of it now. It knows what needs to be happening and isn’t in shock regarding weight loss. So now it’s going to be more cooperative. It’s just going to be a slow cooperation from now on. And I’ll take that.

I missed my 1 pound loss for our ’12 pounds of Christmas’ contest by 1/4 of a pound. *laughs* I needed to be 242 1/2 and I weighed in at 242 3/4. Oh well. Hopefully I’ll be down enough by tomorrow to add an ornament. We have paper trees that we add ornament stickers to for each pound we lose each week. And once we have 12, it goes into a drawing in December. Would like to be a part of that drawing!

I’d also like to get down to 240 already! *laughs* I’d like to get into the 230’s before too long. I’d like to celebrate a 50 pound loss by the time my dad comes. Was kinda shooting for 60, but that’s not going to happen I don’t think. And ya know, I’m fine with that.

Well, that’s all for now. Sorry there’s no pics. Hopefully Renee and I can get the phone/email thing figured out! *laughs* Sucks being technologically impaired sometimes. Hope everyone’s having a nice day. And since I probably won’t be updating again this week, have a lovely week! Take care and God bless!
