Month Nine Weigh-In and Measurements *edit
I know this is about a week late, and I apologize for that. As you all know, I’ve had a lot to deal with. I have more bad news to write about, regarding another family member on my dad’s side, but I’m going to save that for the next entry. I want this one to be as positive as it can.
I did my weigh and measure last week, on the 22nd. I did that because I knew that while my dad was here, I was going to be eating some things that weren’t exactly all that good for me. And I wanted to feel free to eat and enjoy myself and not worry about how it was going to affect my weigh and measure day. So I planned ahead and was rewarded. *smiles* Small numbers once again, but a loss is a loss no matter how small. So I’ll take it and be very pleased with it.
On with this month’s numbers….
12/22/2010 (4 days shy of 9 months at Curves)
Weight – 227 1/2 pounds (231 1/4 last month) = 3 3/4 pounds lost (57 1/4 pounds lost so far)
Bust – 37 3/4 in (38 inches last month) = 1/4 inch loss (4 inches lost so far)
Waist – 39 inches (40 3/4 inches last month) = 1 3/4 inch loss (7 inches lost so far)
Abdomen – 51 1/2 inches (51 1/2 inches last month) = no loss (7 1/4 inches lost so far)
Hips – 50 1/2 inches (50 3/4 inches last month) = 1/4 inch lost (7 3/4 inches lost so far)
Thigh – 27 3/4 inches (28 inches last month) = 1/4 inch loss (times 2) (10 inches lost so far – 5 inches off each one)
Arm – 13 3/4 inches (13 3/4 inches last month) = no loss (times 2) (4 inches lost so far – 2 inches off each one)
Body Fat Percentage – 40.4% (41.1 last month) = 0.70% loss (47% on 3/26/2010)
BMI – 35.90 (36.49 last month) = 0.59 loss (44.93 on 3/26/2010)
According to my weight/measurement report, I lost 3.13 pounds of body fat (of the 3 3/4 pounds I lost), and 2 3/4 inches.
My 9 month total weight loss is 57 1/4 pounds (41.92 is body fat pounds). And I’ve lost 40 total inches off my body. My body fat percentage is down 6.60%, and my BMI is down 9.03.
Slow and steady is winning the race. And the proof is in the pictures.

And some bits of awesomeness I want to share with you all…
One, Renee has asked me to be a motivational/inspirational speaker for our weight management classes next year. Total fabulousness. I don’t know when I’ll start doing it, since there’s some things Renee has to do before I can. But I’m sure I’ll be great. =)
Two, I got an honourable mention on the dry-erase board for the “12 pounds of Christmas” challenge we had going on for the last 12 weeks. I didn’t win. But on the honourable mention, I was listed 2nd for losing 16 pounds. The lady above me lost 17, but did so doing another plan as well as Curves. I lost 16 pounds in 12 weeks only doing Curves. Renee said she’s definitely got reason to brag about me. *smiles*
My weight’s up a little right now due to Aunt Flo making her appearance. But as soon as she’s gone, I’ll be on my way to my 60 pound mark. I’m 3 visits to Curves away from having my 200th workout. And will get a new shirt to commemorate the occasion. Another to add to my collection. Once Aunt Flo leaves, and I get back down to 227 1/2 (where I was on the 22nd), I’ll only have 7 1/2 pounds to lose until I reach 220. And that’s my birthday goal. I’m pretty sure I can do it. I really want to look awesome for my trip to Vegas in March.
Anyways.. that’s all from me, for the time being. I hope everyone is doing well! Have a lovely Wednesday and may God bless you as much as He’s blessed me. Love you all!
**EDIT – I had someone ask me for a side by side comparison from March until now. I don’t know to do that. Can someone please help me out with that??

One thing I found, after you lose big numbers and your body has lost a lot of weight, you start loosing smaller numbers. Don’t get discouraged, as you’re doing a great job! =D

I’m not sure what we’re doing after the guys get back from picking up Menaux` but if we’re home I’ll do it for you in photoshop. If you have software you can do it. You basically start with a new file. You open the others and select the area you want copied, go back to the new file and paste it in, then go back to the other pic and copy paste it..you can use more than 2..do as many as you like. Just remember the pics you copy paste need to be smaller versions. Web version like you post here is perfect cause you can select just you in the pic and copy it to the new one and then place the next pic right next to it so they appear side by side. Once you are done copy pasting one close it so it will be less confusing on which ones you’ve done already. Once your done pasting the pics where you want them you’ll crop it down, or put a border or whatever on it, or write on it what it is, etc.. Then you’ll save a large version just in case you want to use it again to add onto it. but then you are going to resize it so it isn’t too huge and you’ll save it as some other name than the origional and as a file type web friendly (.gif, .jpg, etc..)

I have no idea if that made sense..i keep crying every few minutes and its made my head all jumbled. RYN: He used to be huge. He’s 9 pounds now. A few years ago he had to go on a diet because he went on binges when he still ate dry food and got up to 26 pounds!! He was freaking HUGE!!
