When will it end!

It is very cold again. Ok barely above zero at maybe 5 but feels colder.  I just came in from shoveling at the neighbors.  They are gone to Mexico and tomorrow it’s suppose to be 30’s.  Their driveway faves east so it gets alot of sunlight through out the day so maybe the rest of the snow will melt by then.

Just came back from the China Buffet for lunch with hubby.  Not a big buffet fan but I eat just what I like.  And I would have to order several different meals so the buffet works well.  I hate that over eating feeling so I don’t ever eat much.  But it was ok.

My eyes have been doing very well these last couple of days.  Glad for it. As soon as I went off all medication drops the dryness stopped.  Glad about that, have had no other issues except for the halo’s which I think will go away or I may need a touch up. And it’s still a little blury far away.  I do see 20/20 at last eye check up last week but it’s still like seeing thru my contacts.  I thought I would have crisp, clear vision but I guess it’s just the same as your glasses.  I will see when I go back to the eye dr. in a couple of weeks and my eyes are more healed.

Been slow at work glad I am only working 12 hours a week.  But I wish we would get some stuff in so I could have something to do.  Just been nothing coming in and my boss wants to help me with it.  So that leaves nothing for me to do the rest of the days.  Oh well, I just walk around the store and look at things and try and waste time talking to people.  Much different than 2 months ago.  But I am thankful I am still employed.  Who knows when they will decide to lay off again if they do.  I don’t have confindence in this place at all.  Of course these days who does?

Gonna have dinner with our neighbors tomorrow night.  I have been fighting off a cold or something for about 2 months now.  I can get sick now with it not being busy at work.  It will wait until we decide to go on vacation, then we will probably all get sick.

Have to call older son this weekend.  Haven’t talked to him much in the last couple of weeks.  Hubby was mad because he took two online  classes that didn’t count towards tuition.  So our bill was $1500 more this semester.  Ouch that hurts.  Almost called off the trip.  But we have to create family memories now while we can.  Who knows what the next month will bring.  I should really be saving for that rainy day that will probably happen this year.  But we have to support the economy right?  I wouldn’t do it if we really needed it but I worked hard last year and saved alot and now it’s time to reap the benefits.  I am just waiting for that really good deal to Mexico during spring break. Yep, I know it’s not going to happen because that is when everybody else goes to Mexico.  The search goes on.

I need to go thru the car wash, I don’t think my car has been washed since last fall.  It’s black it shows everything, but have to wait for it to warm up and then no snow.  I don’t foresee that happening until spring.  Which by the way, isn’t it ground hogs day next week?  I hope he predicts and early spring.  We need it!  Of course we haven’t had it  as bad as some of those people have in the south with the ice and loss of electricity.  I feel for those people. 

More sneezes, I haven’t sneezed this much in a long time.  I am due for a cold, my last cold was last January.  I get about one a year.  And if I remember right it was not a bad cold.  I drink alot of green tea and I think that helps.  Just don’t want the bad flu crap that is going around. Yuck!

I am off to watch Dr. Phil.  Interesting character isn’t he?
