Getting close

We are getting close to leaving for Mexico.  Actually we leave on Sunday morning.  I just hope I can get by one more week with out getting sick.  Everyone around me has been sick and I didn’t get anything yet.  Just my luck you wait and see I will get sick when we are in Mexico or on Sunday.  I will be so mad.  I have been waiting a year for this vacation and I don’t want some kind of bug.  We have had no bad outbreaks of the flu around here.   I guess they think they got the right strain this year since nobody in the area has announced any big outbreaks.  Just wait one more week please!  Do I sound desperate.  The last thing I want is to sit in a airport with flu like symptoms of any kind.  Let’s hope!  I am even taking medication along just in case I do get something or one of the kids does.  Hubby had a bad cold he is pretty much over with so I think he will be ok.

Anyway I am looking forward to 80 degree weather and just taking it easy for a bout 4 days.  The boys are too.  Our older son who is in college can’t wait to have a break and do nothing.  All he does is study and not time for fun.  So let’s hope the weather is nice.  I would even take a cloudy day or two just so we don’t burn.

It’s hard to believe but in a week we will be heading back.  I know the time is going to fly by and everyone who has ever been to Mexico has said they have had a blast there.  And everyone goes back so there must be good about it.  I am a little conserned about the drug activity and problems they are having.  But they say if you stay at your resort you should be ok.  We will be in Puerta Vallarta and I don’t know if they are having problems there.   I think alot of it is in more and on the border.  Let’s hope we don’t run into anything.  Who says vactions are fun! It’s a lot of worrying for me!  I really can’t say I have had fun until the plane touches down and we are back home.  Then it will be fun.  

In other news I was sad to see Jorge go from American Idol.  I thought he was a good singer, much better than Noop dog, but then again American votes and they picked to keep Noop.  He really needs to shine next week or else.
