2009

Glad the holiday season is done.  Although I love Christmas and everything that leads up to it, I am happy to see it go also.  You work way to hard leading up to it and then it’s over before you know it and we all go on with our lives as normal.  My son is home until this next weekend and then it’s back to school he goes.  He will finish his 4th semester in pre-pharmacy then study hard to take another PCAT test and hopefully by next year he can start applying to Pharmacy school.  It will be exspensive but well worth it when he is finished.  I know he can do it.

Our younger son will graduate this year from high school and try and figure out what he wants to do with his life.  He is signed up at the local Technical College for a day of job shadowing.  He wants to go into Law Enforcement.  We hate to spend the money on college because we don’t know how serious he is.  He is so immature and doesn’t take anything serious.  Might have gotten that from me.

We fear he won’t study so college is out right now until he gets thru the Tech college with good grades.  He is doing pretty well in school but took a harder math class.  All he wants to do is drop it at the end of the semester.  I told him to at least pass it since the rest of his grades are A’s and a B.  I can’t complain about that.  He did quit his job because my husband said he could.  Not happy about that. But he will be the one to deal with it when the time comes for money and such. I will stay out of it.

Work was nice during the holiday.  I was set on only having to work 19 hours which worked well with me. I was not overwhelmed but did alot of half days at work.  That’s the way they want to do things fine with me.  Now they gave me 17 hours whis week and next week.  I am sure they will cut them back more in the future.  I am going to keep something in mind just in case.  I love this job but they are unrealable and I won’t work other jobs around this schedule.  If they can’t commit to a certain amount of hours I will just have to find something else in this hard to find work society.

I just had a Scottish man come to my house to try and sell me a Kirby vacume cleaner.  Not interested sir sorry.  I love how they give you a ticket to fill out for $1,000 just to get your name and phone number.

Times are hard for everyone I guess.  But it is 15 degrees outside and they send these poor people out.  That is terrible.  I don’t invite people in my home either that I don’t know.  You just never know about people like that.

Ok enough of me for a day.  I am on to watch Dr. Phil.

Take it easy.
