For those people reading Nicole’s story that are not familiar with the circumstances of her death, Jason Rose was convicted of Arson in the Boardwalk Apartment fire set around 1:00 am on October 7, 2005 in Lawrence, KS. Six buildings burned to the ground. 87 people lost all their belongings. 8 people were critically injured escaping the fire. 3 people died, Nicole Bingham, Yolanda Riddle and Jose Gonzales.

I have sat here and read every single entry… What a wonderful young woman. Many hugs and prayers for you & all that she loved. She seems like a wonderful person and the world was lucky to have her in it even for the short period of time it was.

I found you on random and read from Nicole’s story, page 1, and plan to read back a little more. What a beautiful story you have captured. My own heart breaks for you, and for her, but from ashes come life. She will always live in your heart. May she always live within you, and may you continue on your road to peace and healing.
