Yay!!! So far so good…Lets Hope!!!

Well, it’s been a while. School has started back up so of course I’m busy as all heck. I’m in the lab right now just waiting for my English class to start. I probably won’t have the time to do a full update, but I just wanted to share something.
I don’t know if I’ve mentioned anything about this, but my mom is pregnant. Why is this such a big deal? Well, it’s not…except for it wasn’t too long ago she had to go in for a D&C. She went into the dr at 8 weeks for the first time and they couldn’t find a heartbeat. To make a long story short it was all downhill from there.
Anyways, the news has been a secret for a while now. She went to the dr today and is 7.5 weeks! Guess what???? So far so good! They found the heartbeat and everything is looking good. The Dr says things should be fine. He said after today her percentage of having a miscarriage should go from 25% to 3%! Even though I guess drs like to see them every 8 weeks he scheduled her for one in 4 weeks to check again. Until then I think my mom is going to be nervous. I really hope and pray this works out for her. She’s always wanted one more child and this is her chance. She’s getting up there in age (39) but she’s as healthy as ever. Hopefully this works out! I think she’s hoping..and in a way I’m hoping that it’s a boy, but as long as he/she is healthy that’s all fine and dandy with me. She souned a little more relieved when I talked to her a while ago. She should be. I just don’t want us to get our hopes up and then have something go wrong.
Let’s hope and pray everything is going to turn out for the best.
