Work Day…..Pregnant Momma

Grrr…it was another work day today. Honestly it wasn’t all that bad. It went by way fast. I woke up and felt like total crap, I have all day long. I went to work and we were pretty busy all day. They had the other girl come in…it looks like they will be working the both of us now. I don’t know why but it kind of bugs me. It’s not near busy enough to have four people there all the time. It was nice because I didn’t have to do any of the runs. I spent the day doing what I like to do…look up and sell parts. I got a lot of practice today…and NO complaints…ohhh I lied I did look up a radiator hose wrong…technically it wasn’t my fault because she told me she wanted the upper one when really she needed the lower one. So yeah…they weren’t pissed or anything…thank goodness. Rather than that…I even fixed the bosses mistake. The dealer next door needed some rotors and they called and had gotten the wrong ones and so I looked them up again and came up with a new number…the right ones! I was proud of me…but what can I say I’ve been working in automotive parts of some sort for like 9-10 years now. I really like doing it too! I wish there was something I could go to school for that I could stay in it…but just selling parts doesn’t make that much money lol.
Anyways, when we weren’t busy today I did some reading for my paper…made fun of the guys I work with…I was on one today…lol. Anyways..I have some good ideas about my paper now..I just don’t really know how to write it. Grrrr…we’re suppose to have it done for peer review tomorrow…dunno about that. If I’m still feeling the way I am right now I’m not leaving the house!
Anyways, just waiting for Matt to get home with dinner. I’m hoping he’s bringing Chinese..but I won’t know til he gets here. He had to go back to work and help a guy so I told him to grab something. It’s kind of cool because when he’s on call and gets called into work it’s an extra $10 per customer. He’ll probably have over $50 extra this payday. Plus the one guy paid him $20.
Anyways…what else…OHHHH my momma went to the dr today and everything is fine. She is 19 weeks! I don’t think she’s going to be able to make it without knowing what she is having. Today the heart rate was a little low..nothing serious..but isn’t it said that the lower the heart hate = a boy? I couldn’t remember. But if so that’s a good sign. Everyone will be happy with whatever, but a brother would be nice :o)
I’m still trying to figure out if I should have a shower for her or not. I’m thinking of talking to a few people and see what they think and if they’d come. I mean she’s not due til August so I have a while to figure it all out.
Well Matt just got home with dinner!
