Thought Things Were Were Finally Slowing Down

Blah, man the past few days have been interesting.  I finally got all my finals out of the way and my grades aren’t too bad so far.  Things have been going alright, pretty stressful, but it seems to be working out.  Just as things seem to be slowing down Matt gets a phone call lastnight and his step-dad has been in the hospital since yesterday morning and he’s been through 3 surgeries and is scheduled for 2 more tomorrow.  We were a little nervous lastnight because the one he was going through lastnight, the last thing they said was IF he makes it through this surgery we will talk about future surgeries.  Come to find out this morning he made it and he’s doing alright.  He won’t eat, but they are feeding him through an IV.  I guess he’s got some sort of Strep? infection.  It’s gone through his leg, stomache, and into his spine, his brain and everything looks good.  It’s just kinda scary.  Matt was a little nervous.  They’ve been able to get most of the infection out of his leg and stomache, and the surgery they did lastnight was to get it out of his spine area.  We’re driving there tonight which is in Boise SO KRYSTAL, IF YOU READ THIS GET A HOLD OF ME!  It’ll be a long drive, but it’s all worth it, Matt’s mom could use the support and if anything does happen between these surgeries we’ll be there. 

So yeah, on a little bright note we exchanged gifts here at work today, it was pretty fun and exciting.  My blankets are a hit as gifts lol.  I have sold a few though.  I think I’ve sold a total of 5 now..maybe only 4…but it’s great.  Got a little nervous on one I was suppose to have done and shipped in time for Christmas, ended up not wanting it anyways, which is all good because I sold it the same day. 

Anyways, just thought I’d update before we left.  I probably wont’ be back til Sunday or Monday.
