My Bills and Stuff

I can’t believe how much we got done today. We just both kinda got int he mood to clean up and stuff and got so much done. The spare bedroom looks like an entirely different bedroom. We sorted through all the crap in there and have a good garage sale pile…hopefully someone in the family wants to have one soon because it isn’t enough to have one of my own, but yeah. If no one is soon, then we’ll just take it to DI. Hmm what else did we do. We sorted through all our old books and stuff. I have all our old text books worth selling listed on Half.com. I have 24 listed for like…umm I think it was almost $800 or maybe $900….sounds like a lot…but we paid A LOT more than that for them. Hopefully we’ll sell them. We could kind of use the money. (BRANDY I LISTED THEM EARLIER THAN I THOUGHT SO WHENEVER YOU WANT TO JUST BRING YOURS OVER AND I’LL LIST THEM TOO) They probably won’t sell until later on when it comes closer time for school to start, but oh well. Speaking of school. I’m still working on transfering…I still don’t know if it’s what I want to do, but oh well. I checked on our financial aid today because we haven’t heard from them and the deadline is like tomorrow…or maybe it’s the end of June, but still. We still didn’t get any grants..but tons of loans. I think I got like $10,000 worth of loans and Matt got $7,000 Probably only use half of it..especially if I transfer because BYU-I is a lot cheaper.
What else did we do today. Cleaned out our junk drawers…I cleaned out my car.
The thing that I did that’s really going to help is sorting out my bills. I have them all listed out and it’s weird because I only have like $466 in bills a month. I’m going to be making like $1,000 a month…That’s like way awesome. That’s not counting my gas…makeup..all that good stuff, but still I should be able to put like $300 in savings a month to get my savings built back up.

I pay extra on like all of them…I always pay more than the minimum. Especially on Maurices because it’s my highest card. My car payment is only like $165, but I pay $200. I could cut back and save more money, but paying the minimum isn’t going to get them paid down at all. What’s really scary is my total debt.
$8659.66 That’s just debt. That’s not counting like Internet, Sports and Fitness..the stuff that’s just a monthly thing. Crazy huh!
This all may sound weird because I’m married. But we just kinda just base it on who makes what. Like he still pays all the bills like house payment, lot rent, power all that stuff. He makes like $1800-$2000 a month though. I pay his car payment because he pays my car insurance. It may sound weird, but until we’re more settled with good jobs and stuff, that’s how it works for us.
Anyways, it’s nice to see what all I owe and stuff.
