Friday Sucked!

Friday was another work day…quite an interesting day. We tried hard to get the one guy fired lol. Ok so we didn’t try, he brought it on himself. It all started early in the morning when this guy calls and wnats to know when we’ll have his lights. I asked Danny about it and he’s like they’re not here yet…I was like duh he wants to know when they will be. So he tells me to tell him to check back between 12:20 and 1 when we get UPS. When I hang up the phone Danny’s like they’re not going to be here…I was like WTF why didn’t you tell me to tell him that then. It pissed me off because it made me look like an ass. But the guy heard me ask Danny too…so yeah. Anyways around 1 this guy shows up wanting his lights. Danny’s in the back working on a snowmachine..that no one gave him permission to work on…anyways so I go back there before the guy even gets in the store and I tell Danny that he’s there. Danny gets all pissy saying well they’re aren’t here yet. So I go back and tell the guy that and he gets kinda pissed. I told him that I guess there was a chance that they could still show up at our warehouse. So I go back and ask Danny about it and he rolls his eyes and says that he can’t pull them out his ass. I was pissed..he had no reason to get all pissy with me! It pissed me off that he was just staying in the back working on a snowmachine for no reason too! Not only dealing with that guy, but there was about 3 other people there too…and it was just me. Anyways, I called the warehouse to see if they had got UPS and they had just gotten it so I told them what I was looking for and told them to call me back, they called me back and didn’t have them. This really pissed the guy off. FINALLY Danny comes up and pisses the guy off even more. I mean he was completely rude to him…that sure as hell no way to treat a customer. The guy gets pissed and leaves. He shows up a little while later…stands there for a minute and then leaves again. I didn’t think much of it…but when I went down to the warehouse he was there…and the warehouse manager had found this guy some lights in IF that he could have back that afternoon. I guess Ed called Frank and let him know what was up…then one of the big bosses got involved and wanted Frank to call and fix things with this guy. It pissed Frank off because he had to fix a problem that Danny caused. Danny’s like..what did I do wrong..what else could i have done..well obviously tried a little harder…Danny was laughing about the whole thing. When Danny was gone we got talking about it and I told Frank about the first time the guy came in and Danny was in the back..that pissed Frank off. Then I told him about how Danny was complaining that he’d do more about it but the guys doing a big project and only ordering 3 lights here..and three lights there…Frank showed me the order and the guy had ordered 9 of one and 17 of another….I guess it has totalled to almost $400. The day just got worse from there for me. The lights the warehouse manager got were wrong, not his fault, the place sent the wrong ones. So I had to go meet our Idaho Falls store for the right ones. I get to Rigby and realize that I’m low on gas, I had some cash, but I wasn’t going to put my own in because I would never get it back. I figured I could make it anyways. So I was almost back and I was just passing the last Rexburg exit when I see Danny getting on the freeway(he had gone to the eye dr) anyways, then the pickup starts like losing all power…I thought there was a strong wind or something…all of the sudden it’d speed up again. It did that for a bit, but never died. I finally started pulling over into the emergency lane so Danny would see me…he did and came back and sure enough I was out of gas. We just left it there and went and got some gas. I got a lotta crap because that’s one of Danny’s biggens pet peeves. Grrr…anyways I won’t go on more about it..Friday just sucked…I came home and went to sleep on the couch at about 8:30 and went to my bed about 10 and slept until 7 the next morning…it was great!
