1. Freelancing Platforms
Freelancing platform is an avenue to create your freelancing profile and get hired. In creating your profile, optimizing it is an excellent way to get noticed by clients. Freelancing platforms that are most used today are Upwork, OnlineJobsPh, Fiverr, etc.
These platforms are free to use. But, in UpWork you need to buy connects for you to be able to send applications.
2. Social Media
Clients are everywhere, and yes they are always in social media. Optimizing your social media accounts is one of the best ways of getting hired. You can do this by posting insightful contents on a consistent basis.
3. Google
Google is another avenue for freelancers to reach clients. For you to do that, you can type the job that you want to apply for and put the current date. Then, Google will provide you with hiring freelancing platforms on the results page. It will then redirect you to the job that you want to apply for.
4. Lead Generation
This is another strategy to reach potential clients. Freelancers do this to either serve clients with a low fee or for FREE. In doing this, mentioning and showing your portfolio is a great way to express your expertise. And, if ever, you’ve fulfilled the agreement, you can ask for a good review or feedback from them. Also, you can ask them if they would like to continue availing your services. But, this time, services will have a fee.

Inbound marketing is about not chasing clients but welcoming clients to come in. One way to do this is by establishing your online presence through social media and websites. By optimizing your social media accounts and website, you will reach potential clients. And, when they’ll be happy with your output, they will offer you a job right away, even without an interview.
There are three things that you need to prepare for in reaching out to clients. First is, you need to personalize your applications, provide solutions and present proofs.
In the application process, you need to personalize your cover letter with the name of the client. In there, you need to research the needs of the client. As such, you can tell the client your possible solutions.
