Valentine Day
Dear Diary,
HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY! I had a really nice day. We had secret pal all week and my secret pal was great! She made the most creative objects out of origami and construction paper. She made a mouse out of a heart, wove a heart basket and made a lily out of origami. She also gave me note pads, heart stamps and some really nice candles. I loved it and looked forward to each day.
Today I put on a pancake breakfast for the entire faculty. It was GREAT!
I made chef hats for three of us that flapped jacks LOL.
We had three grills going and even cooked some sausage.
Other faculty members brought in other food items such as fruit with whipped cream (home made that is), crumb cakes, cheese cakes, bagels and cream cheese, muffins (home made) and other things. It was a feast. My joy was watching everyone enjoy the breakfast and it really set a nice tone for the day.
Everyone told me it was a great breakfast and the principal told me that I did a great job. I have to say that if I didn’t have the help of some of the faculty, I would have never pulled it off.
The kids had a good day and everyone had some kind of little Valentine party.
Even though I had leave for school at 6:45 am, the day went relatively well.
After school I walked and jogged 3.5 miles and then came home and did laundry. Tomorrow I am leaving again for New York state to join the Peaceweavers for another fun filled weekend and another sweat lodge.
HAPPY DAY EVERYONE!
Peace,
LYB
