Father’s Day
Happy Father’s day!
Unfortunately we couldn’t spend it with Nathan as he is in Kansas right now harvesting, but we called him on the phone today and I sent him a few pictures and videos of the kiddos. We aren’t much for card/gift people so that was good enough for Nathan.
The boys and I spent the weekend hanging out at my parent’s house. I LOVE weekends like this. The weather was gorgeous, my brother Jeff and his wife Katie and son Brody came up, and we hung out on the patio and the kids played in the plastic pool, my mom brought out the sand box, and we even took the bikes and bike trailers to the State Park and did a little 5 mile ride. Jasper sits SO well in the trailer with Wesley, and I’m glad I can now take both boys on rides at the same time.
Today we went to church and then back over to my parent’s house with my grandparents for turkey on the grill and mac salad and then my grandpa’s home made ice cream! We ate on the patio and it was just another lovely day. Love making memories like this!
A little glimpse of our day on Saturday…
What a lovely day!

Sounds great! I can’t wait to be able to take the boys on rides in the trailer. Although Joe is the one that lugs it around :0

Turkey on the grill? Mac salad? HOMEMADE ICE CREAM? That’s it; I’m coming to live with you!! I’ll bring Linnaea and Maggie too–I’m pretty sure they’d get along famously with Wesley and Jasper!
