Thankfullllllllll
So, I didn’t post something on facebook every day, but I was thinking about what I was thankful for, just the same. So, here’s my list:
1. I’m thankful for crayons, and arts-n-crafts in general.
2. I’m thankful for Sesame Street
3. I’m thankful for my furbabies, who are quiet and snuggley and only need the bare minimum from me.
4. I’m thankful for Financial Aid and the ability to go to college
5. I’m thankful for an awesome job with excellent coworkers, doing something I enjoy (most of the time!) 🙂
6. I’m thankful for Milo, who has challenged me to be a different parent in order to be the best mom he could have. He has also showed me that some kids just have stronger personalities, regardless of their parenting, and taught me to be more accepting and less judgmental of other people/parents.
7. I’m thankful for Kasin, for being sweet and smart and adorable and making me feel like I’ve done something right with my life.
8. I’m thankful for Grandma Julie for moving into my basement, helping out with rent and Kasin, and being an awesome MIL, friend, and grandma to both my boys.
9. I’m thankful for understanding professors who understand that students have a life outside of their classroom.
10. I’m thankful for my awesome friends, who I’m blessed to know.
11. I’m thankful for my big cozy bed and my snuggley soft blankets, particularly when it’s -20 and -30
12. I’m thankful for a car that runs well and has 4wd and a heater.
13. I’m thankful for my hair stylist, Sean, who does my hair for free.
13.5 (Cuz something happened to my list.) I’m thankful for my BFF, Melissa, who brings me endless joy and entertainment, and is the world’s best listener.
14. I’m thankful for my Sister From Another Mister, Heather, for being amazing and generous and hilarious and comforting.
15. I’m thankful for my extra family, Heather’s parents and sister, who have welcomed me into their lives despite our differences, and have taken care of me when I needed support and family.
16. I’m thankful for CHAPSTICK.
17. I’m thankful for OBAMA.
18. I’m thankful for my chiropractor.
19. I’m thankful that my kids both love reading.
20. I’m thankful for the people who help my children grow and learn at daycare and school, and I’m glad that the people they spend their days with love and care about them.
21. I’m thankful for my realtor company who allowed us to make a million tiny payments in order to catch up with our late rent when it got slightly out of control.
22. I’m thankful for SCIENCE!
Aww!! 🙂 What a great list. You ARE a great mom, even though you’ve repeatedly had to parent in two opposite ways. And also, I love you to bits! You’re my bagel and without you, I’d just be bland cream cheese. And no one likes that all by itself. 🙂 Together, we are the breakfast food of the masses! NEVER LEAVE ME!! Ahem…drastic? A bit. 🙂 But I mean it.
