30, grocery, pork chop, soccer, fans, ear drum.
Watching 30 Rock.
Need to get groceries- I haven’t been able to find Bisquick ANYWHERE, what the HECK?! Why is it so hard to get Bisquick?!
The only thing left to eat in our house is pork chops. there’s some pork chops in the fridge defrosting for dinner tomorrow. We have some ramen noodles and ritz crackers, peanut butter, frozen veggies, canned fruit… cereal… almost no milk. lol. None of you care about this, but THE POINT IS! Tomorrow is payday for Ross, payday for me on Monday, and then we shall have groceries yet again. Mmm, food.
Man, Kasin scored an awesome goal today in soccer. And then for the second half, he was whimpy and kept saying "I’m defense." as an excuse to just kick the ball and watch the other team get it. Uhh.. silly kid. He seems to lose steam half way through the season, and today in the car he said that he doesn’t want to play soccer anymore. I reminded him that when we signed up for the season, he agreed to do his best every single game and practice, and if he decides to quit soccer after the season, that’s fine. I thought getting the goal would have boosted his self confidence and made him a little more aggressive, but then again, he also went swimming today for a daycare field trip and that was 3 hours of swimming, so I’m prettttty sure he was already worn out by the time he got to soccer.
GOD it’s hot in our house. People come from other places to build things here in Alaska, and therefor, they don’t realize it gets hot here. Or that we would think 70 degrees is hot. Actually, we love 70 degrees, as Alaskans, but 80 degrees is a RIDICULOUS amount of heat, and we all melt.. anyways, it’s been abnormally hot and muggy (it’s usually VERY dry in the interior, but it’s been a VERY wet, rainy couple of years.) and so it’s pretty much miserable indoors. We have these window A/C units, but Ross is worried that Milo will try to pull them out of the window, thus smashing his hand/arm in the window pane (we have VERY old fashioned windows) ..however, it’s too damn bad, because we need them. we dont have any fans, because our many children and cats have knocked over all of the standing fans and broken them. Anyways, I can’t survive or sleep without a desk fan pointing directly at me… and Kasin has been sleeping in the basement.
Milo has a burst ear drum, poor baby. He was fussy yesterday and needed some tylenol to act normal/tolerable. Then he woke up at midnight ish and had a fever and couldnt settle back down until well after 3am and another dose of motrin in order to calm back down and go to sleep. Then today I noticed his ear was all crusty and goopy, so I called and made him an appointment for 11:45. Sure enough, she said his ear canal was so full of pus and fluid that she could hardly even see in there. Poor guy. He has drops and amoxicillin, and is still taking motrin. He doesn’t like the ear drops, but he’s good about keeping a cotton ball in his ear for a while afterwards, he even tries to get another cotton ball and stuff it in the other ear. So cute. I love him.
Work… yeah. "Work sucks, I know."
I’m hungry. Ima get some cereal.

Our summers here are stinking hot. Around 42 degrees celcius which is around 107 over there. I used my converter on my Ph to check 🙂 Poor Milo it’s horrible when your kids are sick Xxx ~

Hope Milo recovers quick! And I’m glad you have that mentality for sports…gotta push through with trying something then decide if you really don’t want anything to do with it. Ashley
