Compliment of a lifetime
Granted, this is probably a small step in my life path, but today i got to meet Sarah jane, who owns Sarah Janes Bakery in NE. this bakery is very well known and has been written up several times.
Last week, like i said, I emailed her on a whim and today I got to go in and meet with her. We chatted for awhile and then I decorated a cake for one of her orders. I thought that was pretty trusting. She said my writing was better than hers and that she thought the cake i did was beautiful. She also said she just really enjoyed me as a person. This was a HUGE compliment to me. I told her it would be an honor to work for her (I am sure it sounded like ass kissing, but it was true) and she is going to let me know if she can hire me on hopefully by the end of next week.
I was so so happy when I left. Can i really do this career without the school part? I very much hope so. I seem to keep wedging my foot in the right doors.
On a different note, I cannot wait to get out of my mom’s place. I can’t stand this man that she is living with and it is starting to really get to me. I feel like I finally understand what my brother and sister were talking about now.
i work at db 41 hrs this week and 16 at Chatterbox. holy work schedule.
But that means moooonneeeyyyy
Ugh it’s like I came back on cloud nine after my bakery stage, and as soon as i walked in the door, I was crabby again. I just hate being here.
If I get even 6-8 hrs at Sarah janes, I am going to quit chatterbox. I hate that place with a passion
