 The ‘office’ Christmas party took place on Thursday, and…

It was interesting to note the reaction of one of the doctors on our unit, after the Recreation Therapist taunted me for living out in the country ( he said that I live in the ‘next best thing to Appalachia’….maybe I should’ve met him at that country bar when he suggested it several weeks ago….if only to keep him off my ass).

The doctor became defensive, and started to grill the RT about his views of ‘Appalachia’…I defused things a bit by mocking the RT, and pointing out that he was trying to bust my chops and that I didn’t think there was offense meant to anyone else but me.

Then I turned my arsenal of verbal barbs loose on the RT, but in a humorous way that let everybody laugh…even the RT. He still shows more interest in me than is desired….damn!

Why can’t I turn off this crazy man magnet that I have? lol….

It was fun talking to the doctor (who was offended by the RT’s comments) after the whole spectacle of baiting the RT into more and more ignorant expression… In fact, I walked away with the kind of crush on the doctor that one never sees outside of highschool ( maybe he should’ve turned off his chick magnet, eh?)

Anyway, I have a mad attraction to somebody, and that’s very nice, because I haven’t felt this way in about 4 years….

I’m sure it’ll pass, lol…
