Whovians?

Who here’s a Whovian that’s seen the Season 7 premier? Is it just me or was it very Battlestar Gallactica-ish? I’m not against the Daleks being human as long as they don’t over use it as a plot point. I see that getting really old really quick.

Battle Royale is a more awesome version of The Hunger Games. Much less pomp and show, more realistic and plot points that make much more sense. A different class struggle too, its between adults and children rather than the bourgeois and proletariat. I like the personal nature child/adult rather than societal structure of the business world even though the business world might be more relevant to American culture at the moment. Political strife will always be there I think so making another point about rich people playing with the disenfranchised seems a moot point. Not insignificant but I just don’t care to hear politics at the moment I guess. The symbolism in Battle Royale is pretty much adults will force kids into their place and it is a Japanese movie so I think their culture has more of a rebellious nature than American culture.

I don’t really have much to say at the moment. I finished helping my sister and came home. We had drove up there together and when I came back home I found out my car’s dead. She drives a Prius and said she couldn’t jump my car. I don’t know the facts behind that but their batteries are pretty intense so I believe her.

So until someone can give me a jump, I’m stuck. Being that it’s Sunday night I don’t really see what I’m going to go do anyways but I still wanted to go do something. Sarah (not the one I just broke up with) wanted me to come play some music and I really would’ve liked that today. She’s a drummer and I good friend. Also, Tom, a guy who was good friends with Jen (my girlfriend that died) and he’s a really good guitarist! Who knew! So I was hoping to get us in the same place at the same time at some point. Also Kyle (very large pot head, has his green card and everything) just quit his band…I don’t know what to think about him though. He hasn’t gotten laid and he’s….26. Thank you Facebook. I think that’s dangerous for someone not to have sex. I definitely want to get laid just so I can stop thinking about my ex. Healthy choice? No. What you should do after someone cheats on you and you know they’re still doing it? I don’t give a fuck. Kyle though posts stuff like….

So yeah…he gets his heart hurt when he dishes out weed to people and hopes to get laid then gets really hurt when he doesn’t get his way.

Good guitarist though. Crazy. I think he even has multiple personalities….good guitarist though…In the end not worth the effort and he’s just an acquaintance I’ve gone camping with once and jammed a few times with. Nothing special…gotta feel for the guy on the never had sex part though. He had a skateboarding accident in high school and now has a soft spot on his head. I poked it, it’s like a rotten melon. He got held back some grade and has Chrons Disease….poor bastard…poor crazy bastard…
