It’s finally here!

I was going to wake up and write an entry about my cat but I realized that its the 18th and Borderlands 2 is finally here!

This is a little mini series they made with the robot Clap Trap who helps you though the games. I love the Christian Bale joke but it was a lot more relevant three years ago.

So needless to say I’m excited that it comes out today. It’s a really funny game to play through and they give really obscure references to the description of guns from old movies like Cool hand Luke and random music or pop culture references..the first Borderlands had four awesome DLC’s so it was really worth paying for the game and "Ain’t no rest for the wicked" was the opening song. How cool is that? Plus they make blowing things up really satisfying. That doesn’t hurt either. The game also has 17,750,000 different guns in it. That was the original game and the sequel says it has 87 gazillion guns….probably not that much but if the first one had almost 18 million then the second can’t be disappointing.

That’s done with! I’m going to go buy the game once gamestop opens and drink mountain dew  and eat hot pockets all day…not really…I’m going to drink my smoothie and eat some yogurt with a piece of Daves Killer Bread and probably drink some coffee. Milo is yelling at me to let him out into the sunshine though so I think I’ll go water the little green darlings in the yard and stretch. I hurt my back doing something yesterday. Sometimes I rush through the ‘cool down’ portion of my workouts and it leaves you feeling really stiff the next few days. I’m always impatient by the end of it though and I just want to get in the damn shower…I need to force myself, no excuses, not worth feeling like an old man for two days.

I played music yesterday with Brett and Sarah. It’s really hard to get them to play after they smoke pot though. They both play drums and Sarah is the better drummer but she always has some complaint halfway through a song about her shoes or needing a drink of water or her wrist hurts or something. Brett is a good drummer but not when he’s smoked anything. Then after going through a song three or four times we record the guitar and drum parts then I go back and fill in the bass and secondary guitar parts. By the time I’m done with that someone is usually hungry so we make food then yesterday Sarah wanted us to put up the border in her bathroom she just painted so that was pretty much the end of playing music. It is my music and I do write everything but the drum parts but I’d like it if other people contributed and did things. I’m not trying to control the situation in any way other than trying to get them to play…I need to find new musicians but I like that I know they really well and we get along on a personal level really well. Conflict. Meh…going to go play my game. I hope you’re all having a wonderful day. 🙂
