Presents, Presents, Presents!

       Lol, in ONE day I pretty much got my mom’s birthday AND Christmas covered. There are still some odds and ends to  get her, and I am going to take care of that tomorrow before work and Monday afternoon. Then I am going to wrap them all Monday night and not have to worry about them again until X-mas day!!! *Does a little dance* It’s so stressfull trying to fight the crowds and the traffic, and the horrific holiday drivers…..And for as far as I know right now, this is my last X-mas at home, so I want it to be relaxing and not so hectic. I was able to get a lot of it with David’s help. So that was nice. It also means I will have more money to spend on my trip, lol.

    I got Frank’s present at Macy’s last weekend. I really hope he likes it. A while ago we had this conversation about drink glasses, drink mixers (like those martini shakers and stuff..) and I had found some and he kept saying he didn’t want a cheapy one…but a nice, sophisticated one. So at Macy’s I found this REALLY nice stainless steel martini/drink shaker/mixer  and it came with like the strainer, and stuff….and I also got him a ice bucket (also stainless steel) and had the capitol letter "M" enegraved on the front of the mixer and the bucket. So next year when he graduates and has his own place (hopefully with me hehe) he can entertain and make drinks. (He loves to host get togethers) They’re really nice! I want one! haha. I hope he likes them and doesn’t think they’re cheesy or wedding giftish..lol. They’re really elegant and "sophisticated." He has a job making mad money, so I wanted to get him something he wouldn’t necessarily think to get himself until he needed it you know? I want to get him something else, I thought about the glasses but …I’ll let him pick those out..he’s so picky. And I know what kind he wants….coz I found them and showed him a while back…they’re cool…but, he may change his taste by then, who knows. I think I am just going to mail them to his mother though, and ask her to hold on to them until Christmas. Because if he recieves it before Christmas I know he’ll open them. Plus, it would fit in my luggage going TO Prague, but coming back with suveniers…it may not..so, it’s the practical thing to do.   If you have any ideas on a another gift let me know!

      I have also been working on losing some weight too!!! And clothes that weren’t fitting me before are fitting me like they used to. I have REALLY cut back on food. Eating smaller portions and stuff. Which is difficult because I love food and my brain is always telling me to eat more or something. But I did gain a little, noticeably.  I won’t be a Victoria’s Secret model by the time of my trip, but I will be smaller!! Haha. I try to exercise too when I have time. When school lets out I am really going to double time on the exercising too. Do it two hours a day, see what I can do from the 14th to the 27th, lol. My whole family is so overweight….I don’t want that to happen to me….so…it’s important I stay smaller!!! For so many reasons other than vanity….

    1 Month, 1 Week and 2 Days until I leave for Prague!

oh yeah, you can expect the countdown now in every entry. It’s annoying I know but I can’t help it, lol. The excitement is too overwhelming!
