You Could Be The Sinner And I’ll Be The Sin.
So, I decided that it’s about time I write again. For posterity’s sake, a’course. And to keep this thing alive and you enjoying me and my stupidity. I mean, adorableness.
It seems that tomorrow at 10 am, tickets for City and Colour go on sale. I didn’t even know Dallas was coming back!!!! This is great. And he’s gonna be at the Winspear, which is even better, because the acoustics are fucking perfect there.
And I will be going. So help me, I will be there, rain or shine, January or not, alone or with someone, I’m GOING. Maybe I can con Mike into coming with me again. Jeez, that’ll be just shy of a year of knowing him – minus three months. Quel strange.
Anyways. School is good. Got 84% in my Histo module for Basic Lab blah-blah. Screwed up somewhat on Quality Management, but did well enough on the assignments that my mark shouldn’t be too bad. We’re going to start having mad labs every week (at least three, sometimes four) which should make life extra interesting. Some Mondays, all we’ll do is labs, and maybe one hour of actual lecture. Tuesday, blood lab, every week, same time. And coming soon to a Karyn near you, Friday labs for Specimen Processing and sometimes for Urinalysis. The gross labs, me thinks.
Microbiology is boring so far, but I figured it’d be – I’m not going to get my adorable self stuck on bench making agar and growing cultures when I get a real job. I will be out in front taking blood, or at least in Hematology, gazing lovingly at blood cells under a microscope and giggling pleasantly everyday.
Anywhore, I should get going, as my aunt will be here in 10 minutes or less. If not, I’m requesting concert tickets for free, as with the whole "30 minutes or your pizza’s free, baby." She’ll probably glare at me and kick me out of the car. Good fucking times. I’ll have to tell you all about my toilet-hugging adventure and subsequent missing of school Friday. More good times.
