Our Stars Are Aligned, But They Don’t Align For Us

Happy BunnyDay.  I had dinner with the family today, which was… Both hellish and interesting/amusing.

My grandma was sick, but we went over to her house, after cooking everything at ours.  Why she didn’t call and say "I’m not feeling well, have it at your house," is beyond any of us, but she’s a Taurus and they really are as stubborn as astologers say they are.  Candice was a Taurus too.  Hard-fucking-headed.

Anyways, I got to see my cousins again, which is getting to be more and more fun these days, now that we don’t gang up on each other and fight and pitch fits like when we were kids.

My cousin Shonna and I curled up on the couch with an old blanket of my grandpa’s for a while, talking about when we were kids and how the grandparents would set up an easter egg hunt for us, and how much fun we used to have searching through the living room and bedrooms and the backyard.

In other news, I have become a total YouTube addict.  Neg’s Urban Sports are the funniest thing ever, and I will one day go with some of the Rona boys to commit acts of flagrant disregard for anyone but us and our joy.  Potter Puppet Pals has become a new favourite of mine, particularly Dumbledore’s nudity in nearly each episode, and the Mysterious Ticking Noise is joyful fun.

And is it really so wrong of me to watch the new Hilary Duff video a few times?  Or the video for Never Too Late, by Three Days Grace?  It can’t be that bad, can it?

But… It turns out that I wish you were here, more than I can say.
