Oh No, She’s Not A Secret Now. But Nobody Cares.

So, it’s been a really long time since I’ve written in here.  I’m sorry about that.  But school and life and existance have all been so damn hectic lately that I don’t even feel like I have time to breathe some days.

I’m so fucking exhausted.  I had a Urinalysis midterm today.  Next week, we’ve got 6 quizzes/exams, a competency for venipuncture, and 11 hours of other labs.  11 hours.  Of labs.

LABS!

God, I’m so tired I just want to curl up and hibernate like a bear for the winter.  Wouldn’t it be lovely?  And speaking of winter, it’s here.

And not nicely, either.  Not in that "pretty, fluffy snowflakes drifting to the ground with no wind behind them to freeze your poor ears and nose and fingers and toes and cheeks and soul" way.  We got the wind and the freezing your soul and everything deal.

And I’m sorry, but aren’t we supposed to be having an El Niño spell or something?  My family, however, has gotten the bright idea into their collective heads that January or February is the perfect time to go to Hawaii.  And it is.

Except for the one little fact that if they go in January or February, I’ll be in practicum, so hey – Karyn gets to stay home and find a way to get to the hospital and base lab and my satellite lab site for a week and a half.  So, yeah.  Thanks mom.

And even if they waited until March, I probably still wouldn’t be able to go because I don’t have any fucking money.  So, double thanks.

Anyway.  This is just a quick update to hold us all over for a little while longer.

I’ve only got TWO weeks of classes left, so maybe once I’m free, I’ll be around more on here.

Oh, and my tummy hurts.  Today?  Not such a great day…
