Think Happy Thoughts
The problem with money is it has too few uses; the problem with people is they have too many.
Everything gets reduced down to exchange value. Capitalism has become a lumbering, post-adolescent caricature, a simulacrum of nothing but its own reflection refracted back at itself through a hazy fog on a still-moonlit morning, as retold according to the fraying ends of an ageing memory, flicked off the edge of a half-lit cigarette with ashes groping down a single side. The Xerox machine is laughing.
I don’t quite know how to feel about it.
Commercials, one-sided communication, fake a conversation with the inclusion of increasingly more rows of perfect ivory teeth that could never clench words back, so you know if they’re saying everything, they could never lie. They advertise each other.
Switch to our service; save money; spend it elsewhere–because, really, what else would you do with the filthy shit?
Marx was wrong.
Regardless of the social/economic system under which we slave, humanity will never be free, not from itself. The only solution to alienated labor is to stop reproducing. As long as we build, as long as we press on, leaving these steps, these shoulders for posterity to stand and build upon, we are enslaved to the Other. Only, the Other comes out of ourselves (like s/he always does).
Complete sterilization or annihilation are the only cures.
You cannot live for yourself.
After 2008 depression, the entire economic syllabus had been rewritten, isn’t it? I read somewhere that communism is still the best. Free market, keynesian, all those theories we’d been exposed to, are no longer conducive.

Well, Darling. You are particularly bright (like a forest fire) tonight. The problem is certainly that I, in fact, have little enough money to call it none. Economics has obviously never been my strong suit.

Also, your notes are like little bright flashes in my day. I giggled and giggled over the tmrow note. Still giggling, in fact. Also, thank you for requesting I not die. It feels good to be in a class of people you would prefer to not be roasted. I did make it clear of Skynet. No killing people!
