weekendy update

Hmm.  It’s the weekend.  🙂

Matt got home safe and sound last night!  I snuck in a few cuddles and kisses with him while I was home on lunch break, he was long gone asleep though.  It’s nice to have him back home again, hopefully for a while.  At least until Christmas when he goes home to CO to see his family.

Slept for a few hours today and got up and went to Potomac Mills to go to the Yankee Candle store to get some Christmas tarts.  I spent WAY too much money there but whatever I am set for a while.  Matt wandered off while I was tart sniffing and bought a shirt from Banana Republic and then we stopped in the GAP where I got a super soft striped fleece pull-over!  Love it!  I need to wash some clothes methinks…  Right now Matt’s off getting the mail and talking to his sister-in-law, kid is crazy since it is kinda chilly outside!

Found a place called DAKS Grill in Woodbridge to grab some grub at before we headed home.  It was pretty good, I got a DAKS Western Dip which was basically a French Dip.  Very very good!  The au jeu was zehr gut!  Ha.

I need to head out again tonight to Wal*Mart, need to get some water.  Need to pick up a tree stand for a Christmas tree too.

Oh, tomorrow I am going to NOVA and I am going to register for some classes.  I really need to start going somewhere with my education and with my current career.  I am ready for something new to learn and excel at.  And let’s face it – getting an Associates would not hurt me in any way, shape or form.  It’s going to be kind of awkward for me I think in my chosen path at Micron right now since there are so few girl technicians but I want to do it.  I guess I need to prove something to myself.

Yeah, not sure what else to ramble about.  Life’s good.  🙂
