wednesday already

I hate doing homework.  Homework that has to do with writing specifically, I never feel like what I do is good enough.

I can’t believe my weekend is over already!  The past 3 days flew by and I am not ready to go back to work yet.  On the bright side it is a short week at work so it is only 3 shifts to live through and not 4.  It’s really not so bad, I just keep thinking about the homework I need to get done this week(I started my other class on Monday).  I’m doing what I can, I guess.  Writing here is obviously not helping but I feel stuck so I need something to help me get going.

It’s like 70 degrees outside right now.  ???

Yesterday I followed Matt into Fairfax so we could drop off the RX8 at the dealership for some work.  I guess while Matt was driving home on Monday night his car blew a fuse that caused all of the electrically powered things to shut off(ie radio, GPS, all controls on the dashboard).  He has a warranty on the car luckily so that was all covered.  Matt took my car to work this morning and came by to drop it off around noon, I guess one of the out of town guys from his office decided to take him out to Fairfax to pick up the car.  Which was OK with me, I had barely woke up at that time anyway.  🙂  His car is all better now!

Did a little bowling on Monday night, it was pretty fun.  I managed to escape being embarassed and sang to on my birthday this year!  Yay!  I was kind of sad I didn’t get any cake or candles(I’m cool with those things…just don’t sing to me!) but mostly the cake…I love cake.  Mmmm.  It was just another day in my life though, birthdays don’t matter like they used to.  I care much more for other peoples birthdays than I do my own, I think.  I guess that’s the way it is supposed to be?

OH!  The stupid database program we are supposed to use to search for articles to use for my english class keeps losing mine!  GRR.  This is the 2nd time I’ve had to re-search for everything.  I’m going to start copy/pasting them into word and saving them myself.  So frustrating!

I need a shower.

I don’t think Matt and I spent much time cuddling on the couch this weekend.  It’s been a while since we layed down there and watched a movie together.  I bought "Across the Universe" even though I’ve never seen it, heard it was good from a number of people with similar movie tastes to mine.  Maybe we’ll get a chance to watch it together this weekend.

Oh, Matt got me a new portable DVD player for my birthday!  🙂  Naturally I ruined the surprise for myself like I always do.  It’s really not fair, I never snoop and I never beg for clues and I still ruin everything!  Blah.  🙁  I’m glad I have another wee DVD player though, it makes long car rides so much more barable!

I think I’m done with my homework for now, I’m getting pissed off at it.  Such a typical response from me.

*sighs*

Okay I’m going to go shower and stuff I think…maybe I’ll go back to my homework after that.  Later taters!
