updatin’ and such.

An update is due!

Am amidst a 3 day weekend that I feel was very well deserved!  I was offered some OT for this week but I declined, I’ll work a night next week methinks when Matt is at work doing OT also.

Haven’t been doing a whole lot, just working and playing with Widget.  He is so cute!  It feels like he’s been around for forever already and we haven’t even had him a week yet.  Widget makes me laugh all the time and he’s slowly getting used to our sleeping schedule which is a plus.  I don’t mind him playing on the bed when we are sleeping I just ask that I stay out of it.  The other day I woke up to him biting my naked bum!  He left a couple of bruise marks on my legs from biting me another day…kinda vicious!  🙂  He also bit Matt’s naked bum and while it hurts it’s still hilarious.  All in all…I love my Widget!

Matt and I have been lazy the past two days and not gotten out of bed until 6:00 PM.  Ah, the night shift.  *rolls eyes*  I hate sleeping so late but it’s really hard trying to get to bed before 6:00 AM anymore.  I needed the sleep that I got today so I am going to quit feeling guilty about it.  We were going to see Dead Man’s Chest tonight but effing traffic effed that all up.  We will go tomorrow night after our day at  Spash Down!  I love me some water parks and for like $13 bucks you can’t go wrong.  Let’s see if we can get up in time though.  😛

Went and did some grocery shopping at Trader Joe’s last night.  I love that store!  We have one a lot closer than what we’d orginally thought and that makes me happy.  Matt grabbed some REALLY good root beer that I think we’re going to have to go back for.  As we were checking out the cashier asked me for my ID and I was just totally puzzled…I was thinking "I don’t remember grabbing any alcohol…"  And then it hit me.  She was carding me for the root beer!  I said "But it’s root beer…"  So she looked at it again and laughed realizing her mistake.  🙂

Bought a bike tonight…nothing expensive just something to fart around on when the mood strikes.  I’m happy because now my lazy ass can get some exercise.

Still need to go to the mall and exchange a shirt, perhaps I can do that tomorrow before we hit up the water park.  Sleeping all day just effs everything up!  Grr!

Speaking of work it has all been going well and I am happy where I am at.  I don’t want to do it for the rest of my life but for now it’s not so bad. 

The bedroom and closet finally look like a bedroom and a closet!  It’s so nice to have lots of floor space and not see clothes everywhere.  Now just to tackle other areas of the apartment and this place will be doing quite well.  I should have taken before and after pictures but it’s not really that interesting and I’m sure everyone would rather see pictures of the kitten or something.  Maybe later though, I’m too lazy to go through and post one right now.  Besides you all need to go back and look at my L and M pictures for 26/52!
