sunday mornin’ rain is … not falling.

Bang bang bang.

  • It is FINALLY my weekend!  Woo-hoo!
  • Just bought tickets to go see Counting Crows and Goo Goo Dolls this Saturday night!
  • Widget’s going through his difficult phase right now.  Always doing something bad unless we are paying attention to him.  Such a toddler!  Last night while Matt was at Blockbuster getting a movie he(Widget) jumped up on one of the speakers and knocked it over, thus making my pretty green tea light holder fall onto the table and break.  Not heartbroken over this since they cost like fiddy cent at Big Lots but now only have 3 of them.  BOO.
  • Getting converted at work very soon.  Hooray for good insurance and benefits!  It’s about TIME I get a job that has great things to offer me.
  • Started Christmas shopping earlier this week, I am so excited about the holidays this year.  I think it’s because it’s a break from retail, that time of year just sucks the life out of you and makes you loathe the holiday season when dealing with the general public.  Now I get to be one of those evil assholes.  πŸ™‚  I kid, I kid.
  • Been having dreams about my Grandma Ziggy…still kind of sinking in that she’s really gone.  πŸ™  Sometimes death is so hard to comprehend…it’s so final.  Like a period.  Your life is now over.  Dot.
  • I’m wearing blue undies with white stars on them.  I like ’em a lot.
  • Can’t wait to see Matt sometime today.  πŸ™‚  I miss my boy!
  • Was talking to my mom the other night and she said she needed to go before she turned into a pumpkin.  Then she proceeded to try to convey what a pumpkin might sound like if it could talk.  It was priceless.
  • I actually went out last Tuesday night with Matt and met up with Mark(Kitt-Kat!) from work, his girl Diamond and her friend Kate.   We shot some pool, shot some shit and had a grand time.  I was happy to hang out with some girls for once and hopefully I made some new friends.  πŸ™‚
  • Thinking about watching American Pie before I snooze on the couch.  Humm, dunno.

I guess that’s really all that is going on with me lately, nothing super interestin’.  πŸ™‚  Hope you all are doing well.  Later taters!

my friend saw GGD & CC when they played up here a couple weeks back. She said it was a fantastic show (i was so jealous she went). Have a blast! I cannot believe you already started your Christmas shopping.

oh MAN brian and I were supposed to go see that show. I’m sure it would’ve been AWESOME. maybe I should still try to get tickets somehow, lol. we both loooove both bands.

August 20, 2006

August 20, 2006

i got to the second bullet and it was all too much! i’m so jealous you get to see GGD. they were my absolute favorite band EVER for a good five years, and i still adore them. i’ve seen them in concert 3 or so times, and they’re great. i wish i could go see them when they come here, but i don’t have the $$. blah. xo

okay, i’m back. i read the rest πŸ™‚ i’m glad you’ll be getting benefits at your job now! it sucks not having health insurance. RYN: yeah, the bacardi silver tastes a lot like smirnoff ice. i can hardly tell the difference, actually. i was going to get the smirnoff but the bacardi was $2 cheaper so i went with that. lol. xo

Yay for benefits!!!!!!!!! I’ve always wanted to see the Goos in concert. Lucky you.

RYN: I know exactly what you mean. I’m the same way. I guess when you’re young you think you’re invincible. Thanks for your kind words. Babe, we’ve got to plan a road trip… I think we’d have a great time hanging out. (hugs)

Yay that sounds like an awesome concert. I am v jealous. Sounds like you’ve got a lot going on at the moment, but it’s good that you’re enjoying yourself. Love, Allie

Hooray for benefits! And yay for concert!

August 21, 2006

Benefits can never be overrated in my book! Definitely a good thing to have! Yay! Widget will probably be in this phase for a while. We have a two year old cat who is just as mischevious. She came inside yesterday with her face beat up. That girl just doesn’t know her limits. *sigh*

August 21, 2006

I wish I was a concert going person. I hate big crowds though… *sigh*

ryn: sounds like fun…though i’ve never had coffee in my life

RYN: Sweetie… You are not awful to me. (hugs) Don’t ever think that! You are busy and I understand that. You had alot going on. πŸ™‚ It’s okay.
