sugah mama

So tonight I went to lunch with Matt and Dan at I-HOP.  Matt and I had to cut out early so I could get back to work on time and I said I’d pay the bill with my debit card and just take the money from Dan.  Matt actually has the change for a $20.00 from Dan and he(Matt) winds up putting the $20.00 in his wallet.  I still end up paying the whole bill.  Of course I didn’t realize this for a few hours and sent Matt a text saying WTF you jipped me!  🙂  I just love how freaking scatterbrained I am.  Just a few minutes ago I tried to give Matt my own $20.00 out of my wallett thinking he was asking for it because he didn’t want to stop at an ATM before he went to take his bike in to get a new tire.  He told me that he now knows where my money goes as I seem to offer it willingly and freely to anyone even if they are not really asking for it.  I guess I need to get my hearing checked. 😉

Ah one more night at Micron and I will have a day off!  However I am at Blockbuster Sun, Mon and Tues nights!  Matt and I are kind of on opposite weeks, my long weeks are his short weeks.  But the positive thing is that we will always have Sunday, Monday and Tuesday off together unless I work some OT.  I was offered OT this week but I am still at Blockbuster.  I’m really going to put in my two weeks this Sunday, I am missing out on making a lot more money for just one night of work.  Plus the more I work at Micron the more experience I am getting.  I am positive I can land a Lead-Op or Trainer spot by the end of the year.  Tom(my trainer) calls me his "Super Star."  Damn skippy.

I haven’t had much of a change to check out and e-mail my pictures from the trip just yet.  I will have time on my days off from Micron.  I’m actually staying up late right now, it’s half an hour past my bed-time.  😛  I guess I will just sleep in a little bit later and scarf down food really quick before I be-bop into work.  The thing I like about getting ready for work is really all that I need to do is shower and get dressed and I am pretty much good to go.  Well, eating and brushing my teeth factor into all of that before I actually get there but whatever.  It’s kinda nice to not have to worry about make-up and hair.  And I’m constantly surprised at how much I get hit on even though you can’t see most of my face. Perhaps that is why. 😉  Matt always tells me I am the best looking girl in the fab anyway.  Aw!

Have been spending a lot of time thinking about being here in VA, so far away from everything.  It really doesn’t seem so bad but there are times I wonder what the hell I am doing.  I’ve adapted here pretty quickly, mostly to the weather.  But I think a lot of the reason it was a pretty smooth transition is because Matt was here.  He is my heart and home is where the heart is.  Living together has been really good.  It seemed like a big and scary step but to be honest things feel the same, we just see each other far more often which has been a positive impact.  I am happy and very pleased that I feel this way.  I dunno, a lot of good has come my way since I moved out here and I am grateful for it and can only hope that I may continue along this positive path.

Well my car almost passed inspection.  The only thing holding The Woo-er back was that the drivers side window seems to be disconnected from the motor and therefore does not roll down when asked to do so.  We need to get it fixed and everything will be all good.  I am enjoying the few trips that I have made in my car despite the lack of a radio and A/C.  Easily fixed!  Matt and I are still arguing on a name, I say "The Woo-er" and he was going for "Woo-Dae".  We shall see who wins(me).  🙂  Again am behind with pictures that I must post.  On that note…Aya…please don’t kick me off the 26/52 even though I am a few letters behind!  I am working on it!  😀

Aight kids it’s time for the bink to get to bed and catch a few ZZZ’s before work.  Last night!  Next week is my short week and then Tammy and Derek will be here!  I am so excited and so grateful for OD.  🙂  Sweet dreams taters, have a great Saturday!

ryn: scary doesn’t even begin to describe it. i don’t want to think about what it would have been like had the call came from another source to say something had happened to sarah. and, i guess i don’t actually feel responsible, however i was just alluding to the fact that had i never got her into the game in the first place, then this guy would have never met her, not done that, etc.

So you like training? I’ve been asked to train fellow employees on the installation/configuration/troubleshooting of one of our products since I have more experience with it than most. Now, I certainly don’t mind helping people – in fact, I love it. However, I don’t like the structured environment of a training class. Everyone looking at you. Expecting you to have all the answers. UGH

Get those 2 weeks in girlie! Got your card today… But I haven’t read it yet. I picked up the mail on the way to work. You know… When I was driving myself to work since I had my license!! 🙂 I will read it tonight! (hugs)

LOL… the poor Woo! She’ll be fixed in no time and she’ll pass that inspection with flying colors! I’m a lucky girl, J usually picks up the bill, but we’re married, so it’s “our” money anyways. It just LOOKS like I’m a lucky girl I guess… 🙂
