sick is the suck

 Being sick is poopy.

Started feeling kind of blah on Wednesday, felt worse on Thursday so after work I stopped at CVS to get some sinus congestion and pain stuff to help me sleep.  Slept really well last night but woke up this morning feeling worse and with a 99.8 degree fever.  Drug my butt into work and hung around until noon or so, then I cut out.  Been at home on the couch all afternoon.  Pondering bed right now but need to fold laundry first!  I took some more of the Tylenol stuff I bought last night I hope it clears up my congestion and helps knock me out again.

So that whole Fuck Obama group is still on facebook, I’m guessing the admins around there aren’t as offended by it as I am or any of you that also reported it.  I also finally commented on my friend that joined the group asking if he’d thought about it before he joined it, or even looked at the content of it.  In his typical fashion he said ‘hmmm, nope’ so I just commented back saying that I am OK with people expressing likes or dislikes of religion and politics but that he(my friend) did not strike me as a racist kind of person.  And he doesn’t  – I truly believe that he did not look at the page before joining because he’s just one of those people that DOES NOT think about shit.  And that’s fine but sometimes that leads you into situations that lead me to judge you in a bad way.  I try very hard to not be as judgmental so much anymore.  Sometimes it just happens though, I think it’s pretty human to judge others.  And, as you know, I am human.  Haha he just commented back saying he finally looked at it and was appalled, he just doesn’t like Obama for the politics(which is fine, even if I like Obama).

We were supposed to get some snow tonight/tomorrow but I think that has been canceled.  LAME.  Just as well I guess, I hate driving in snow sometimes. Well, I don’t mind it but I do mind when other people are driving in it.  🙂  They are jack-asses!  Well, i guess they are jack-asses snow or not.  Just last night I was driving down Vint Hill Rd going 50 MPH(the speed limit) and this jerkface in a Tacoma could NOT WAIT for 10 seconds for me to pass him and then make his left turn after me.  Instead he cuts me off.  So I let my road rage take over and did not brake until I was right up on his ass.  Bad I know but good gosh does that piss me off!  I am (usually) courteous to my fellow driver but some situations just irk the heck out of me.

My nose hurts from blowing it so much.  How is it possible for a human to make so much snot? It’s pretty ridiculous.  I’m sure the cloths we use at work up in the fab aren’t meant for chronic nose-blowing but that’s all we’ve got.  Good ol’ cleanroom wipes.  I must have gone through half a bag yesterday between blowing my nose and then using another cloth sprayed down with 10:1 IPA to sanitize my hands/gloves after blowing my nose.  Speaking of gloves!  I found where they are now stashing the old white nitrile gloves that Micron quit stocking because they were more expensive than an alternate source for nitrile gloves.  The replacement gloves are grey in color and much thinner thus they tear easier causing more need to go change them.  That is a pain in the butt, I’m not sure how many of you have tried to pull on some kind of a plastic texture type glove when you hands have been in another pair all day and are somewhat sweaty.  Anyway, I found the gloves yesterday, changed into a pair out of giddiness and then went to tell some of my co-workers about where I found them.  It’s sad that I get this excited over gloves, right?

Alright I am going to go fold the rest of the laundry and then hit the hay I think.  Need to catch up on some sleep!  Later taters. 🙂
