ramblings for today *pics of sheets now**uno mas

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: I do not understand my cat. Widget eats, drinks water and occasionally plays on the vacuum cleaner but the second you bust that sucker out to use it he is running for the closet. The thing simply has to be mobile(not even on) and he’s high tailing it into hiding. Strange wee one, he is.

Despite the White Chocolate Peppermint Mocha I had at Starbucks today I am quite tired right now. I haven’t even cleaned that much yet either, just swept/mopped up the kitchen and vacuumed the apartment. I really need to go scrub down the bathroom and shower; I suppose I’ll get to that sometime soon.

Man, that football game last night was GOOD! The Ravens definitely gave the Pats a run for their money and I think had the Ravens not fouled their little hearts out things would have turned out differently. I’m wondering if the Pats can keep their perfect season going… In a way it’d be amazing to see it happen and it would be well deserved but at the same time it seems so unnatural for a team to be that good. However I do believe luck occasionally plays a part. I really don’t hate any team as much as I seem to; it’s a part of the game to love and to hate. I dislike the Cowboys as well even though my own boyfriend is a fan and we have a Cowboys lamp(ick) in our bedroom. 🙂 If anything it just sparks up a little bit of competitiveness during games which always makes them a lot more fun. *shrugs*

In other news I bought some CUTE flannel sheets. 🙂 They are blue and have little penguins and snowflakes all over them. I’m so glad that Matt doesn’t care what he sleeps on! I am also glad that he doesn’t mind my child-like side that tends to come out more often than not. I’m not sure I’ll ever really be a "grown-up" which in a way is good but in others is bad. I guess it depends on how you conduct yourself, while I may never dress as nicely as my sister(who dresses like an adult, whereas I dress in jeans and t-shirts still) or decorate my house as beautifully(lol penguin sheets, anyone?) I will always be able to step up to the plate and make sound decisions and choices as any adult should be able to do.

*sigh*

I suppose I ought to go scrub down the bathroom while I still feel like cleaning up a bit. I should scrub down the stove as well…bleh, I hate cleaning the kitchen. I’d rather clean the bathroom. Specifically MY bathroom, not just any bathroom, I know that mine is sanitary and relatively clean at all times.

come clean my bathroom please!

Only if you come clean my kitchen.

Widget is SUCH a cute name for a cat!! Love it. I have so many for mine. Her name is Mocha, but I also call her Tubby and Wooby. Don’t ask. 😛 I still dress in jeans and t-shirts, it’s totally my wardrobe of choice (with flip-flops of all things). And I ever wonder if I’ll really learn to dress like an adult someday. Some people just have it so put together when it comes to that stuff.

wouldn’t be fun to have a peep into our pets’ brains. I sure as heck would like to know what Stan is thinking when he stares at the wall for time on end. the game last night was good! I like it better when it’s a close game like that, instead of a blowout win. Don’t know if my boys can pull off a perfect season, but that’s only a side-perk anyways. *shrugs* i’m gonna steal your sheets. I <3 penguins.

Widge is cute. I saw the commercial for the White Chocolate Peppermint Mocha!! I want one soooo bad right now. The sheets sound cute! Being a bit childish in certain aspects is a good thing. My bathroom is so clean, I feel that I don’t need to clean it often. 🙂 LOL! I do clean the toilets more than the shower, though. 😉

ryn: thanks! I was so focused on writing it that I never bothered to keep posting. And I got really busy, so when I wasn’t writing I was working all the time. But I finished it a week early and then left it alone for a while. I haven’t finished it entirely but I’m close, but I’m giving myself a break, then I’ll start editing/etc. I will post it when it’s done to read in it’s entirety.

My kitty runs from the vacuum, too. When I plug it in he gets a dramatically alarmed look on his face, and when I pick up the hose he takes off like a bat out of hell. I love your childlike side. 🙂

I can’t use flannel sheets..they make me super hot (and not in a good way). I end up breaking out in hives cuz I have a heat allergy… *sigh* Lucky…

I just love those flannel sheets! I don’t care if they’re “kiddish”, they are just adorable.

RYN: I planned on asking when I go in on Tues if I really NEED to root canal. If the cavitiy is deep enough then yea I’ll get it done. No use paying for it to be filled now just to have a root canal in the near future.
