quick update of sorts.

Just a quick update!

So the wedding on Saturday was great!  Had a blast!  I even danced a bit.  🙂

It’s so weird being on vacation…it hasn’t really sunk in yet.  I think it will tomorrow  when I don’t have to go into work and instead head out to Dulles to pick up Stephie-O!  Her trip out here is finally almost here!  WOO-HOO!  It’s been forever since I’ve seen her, it sucks living so frickin’ far away from my family and friends sometimes.  I’m just excited to be able to host another guest.

My little sister and brother are having a blast volunteering in the Dominican Republic, I need to see if I can get home to see them when they finally return.  I happened to be on gmail when Billy was so she and I got to chat a bit.  I’m so happy they are doing such a good thing and enjoying themselves while doing it.  Makes me so damn proud!

Been spending WAY too much money lately!  I have been wanting a TV for the bedroom and we finally got one.  Ended up spending a bit more than intended but I figured eh why not, this is why I save my money – to buy things that I want!  We’re debating on moving the new TV into the living room and moving Matt’s older one into the bedroom.  We’ll see.  Found a pretty good DVD player at Wal*Mart yesterday for the bedroom as well, it’s been utilized a few times already.  🙂  Now to actually start doing something good with my money, like spending it on items to make care packages for those that need them.  I wonder if there is some kind of organization that does that?  I would much rather buy the things myself than just donate money, I feel that if I were to go and pick stuff out myself a little bit more love would be put into it.

We went swimming yesterday!  It was lovely.  🙂  Supposed to be another "scorcher" today so maybe I will get some pool time in again.  People around here are babies about the heat…even if it’s 99 degrees out and the humidity is terrible I still think Arizona is a lot worse.

Oh!  Matt and I saw Transformers last night.  It was AWESOME!  I enjoyed the movie so much!  I am wondering if they ever released those cartoons on DVD, I think I’d like to get them.  I remembered bits and pieces from the cartoons as I was watching the movie.  I do believe that is something I will be buying when it comes out on DVD.  And who was the guy who played Sam?  How cute was he?!

Anywho, I guess that is it from me.  I am off to shower and go to work for a bit…need to get a few things out of the way before I can really call it vacation.
