pointless as usual.

Good morning, sunshines!

Boy am I sleepy today!  Matt came in to kiss me good-bye around 9:30 and I haven’t been back to sleep since.  Maybe I will nap later on…or just fuel myself with a lot of coffee at work tonight.  It will be good to get back, I miss everyone!

It was so lovely to be able to drive my own car again!  I missed Lola so much!  I had a Saturn Ion for my rental car while in AZ and it was nice and all with fancy things like remote keyless entry and a CD player but man I did NOT like the car.  The speedometer, gas gauge, etc. console were all in the middle of the dashboard.  I found this very distracting!  I prefer being able to just glance down instead of looking over off to the side.  The car was a bit bigger than mine too and had even less power…here all this time I thought I had a major putt-putt car!  Needless to say I am grateful for Lola the Corolla and will try to stop thinking about buying a brand new car when there is nothing wrong with the one that I own now.  I blame Matt entirely, he put the itch under my skin.

Speaking of Matt’s new car it is quite nice!  It’s a lot smaller than the WRX but comfortable.  The good news is that his insurance went down!  But the bad news is that it gets worse gas milage than the Soobie.  We were sitting at a red light last night and Matt revved the engine…I smiled to myself and said that the Soobie had a much meaner growl and he agreed.  I think we’re both Subaru fans for life and I know that someday he’d like to own an STI but for now that was a little out of his league.  He wants to get his airplane paid off quickly so hopefully after the new year we can both start buckling down on our(personal) debt.  I really want to get my car paid off next year…

I need to go out to NOVA sometime next week and see about going to school next semester.  I got something in the mail about distance learning which would be fabulous for english classes, with my schedule that would work out for me so much better.  I also learned that when I took placement tests for Micron I tested into Honors courses for english and/or math(but probably more on the english side).  It drives me nuts knowing that I am smart but can’t settle myself down into school.  I always joke about having ADD and I wonder if it is true from time to time.

Ho-hum.

Hmm, I might go pop back into bed and enjoy the comfort of being able to just lay there for a while.  I really missed sleeping with Matt while I was gone too.  🙂

Alright well I hope that everyone has a great day!  Later taters!

Go back to sleep! I wish I could. Distance learning really would be good for your schedule. For some people it’s just more difficult getting into the groove of things when it comes to school.

Artboy has a Suburu and I absolutely love it. I wouldn’t be surprised if my next car is a Suburu 🙂
