I finished up my technical writing class last week the day that I left for Arizona. Came back home, checked my grades and wound up with an A for the course! Yay! I also had a note from my professor reguarding the editorial essay that I wrote on teaching teenagers the use of birth control methods alongside abstinence in school. Now I thought that this was the WORST essay that I had spit out this whole semester because I spent the least amount of time on it. He told me that he may be contacting me to use it as an example essay for future classes! I was really shocked and of course flattered. The thought that he was using my essay as what NOT to do has also crossed my mind but I doubt that anyone is that cruel. 😉

Oh, for those that are confuzzled… Matt didn’t move out or anything. He’s over in Eindhoven(in The Netherlands) until the end of the month for training, he should be back May 31st. Only 17 days until he is home…

Boo, no stimulus check yet. Maybe I won’t get one? *I got direct deposit on my refund this year so last week I should have gotten my stimulus check. Hence me wondering if I got skipped somehow.

Ugh, last night I watched 28 Weeks Later(despite not having seen the first one) and was terrified to get up and go to bed when it was over. I’m such a weirdo! I locked and dead bolted the doors and made sure all of the windows were shut(like that would keep any zombies out). I don’t recall having any nightmares last night so that was good. Maybe it was because I was watching Flight of the Navigator when I fell asleep? Hmm… I need to finish that, I was watching it yesterday evening in the living room when I zonked out on the couch. Grabbed it when I went to bed and zonked out again not too far into it. I guess I was tired!

I just looked at the pictures from my trip home, some of them are hilarious! I need to go through them and re-size before I post. I’ll try to do that before I go to work tonight.

I need to go through my clothes and get rid of things that I don’t wear. I’m always buying new things but never getting rid of the old. I am always like "oh, I’ll wear this someday" and I never do. Lame.

Alrighty I am going to get up off my ass and get a few things done so my day isn’t totally wasted. Later taters. 🙂

I’m bad at getting rid of old clothes too. Lately, I’ve been buckling down and getting rid of anything I haven’t worn in the past year and I ended up filling like 4 bags…not bad! (I give them to Goodwill) Yay for an A!!

yayyy for the A!! and yeah, remember when I watched no country for old men and thought that dude with the cattle killing machine was behind my door? I wont watch those 28 days movies bc i am scared i will be terrified too.

my sister and I used to watch Flight of the Navigator all the time as kids and when we recently rewatched it I couldn’t believe how different the whole story was now that I’m grown up. the movie always made me SO sad because I always thought he would never get to see his parents again.

i never get rid of my old stuff either. then i start wearing the older clothes more than the newer and it’s pretty pointless. i’m weird. congrats on the A! that’s awesome 🙂 have you gotten your stimulus money yet? check out irs.gov if you haven’t. xo

I’m working on going through my closet of clothes too. Things need to just be gotten rid of if I haven’t worn them in awhile. Someone else could totally use them instead of them just hanging in my closet not being worn. Congrats on the school bit! It’s always nice to be recognized for what you’ve done. Ashley
