my wish list and other nonsense.

First and foremost I am still in recluse mode and I apologize.  I’ll snap out of it someday.

So I’ve been on the prowl for gifts for friends and family.  I often wonder if I know anyone at all because I can never, ever think of what to get for a person with out specifically asking them what they want or need.  Perhaps it is the logic that resides within me that says to not buy something for someone that I haven’t received a go on, but maybe that is just my fear of rejection rearing its ugly head.  Anyway…

Since I can’t think of what to get for anyone else I just made up my own Christmas List, something I’ve not done in YEARS.  So here you are kids, those things that I want the most(in no particular order):

• Striped socks
• Pretty yarn
• Nintendo DS(I’d go for a GBA, too)
• Yoshi’s Island
• Original Mario Brothers
• Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy(book)
• Finding Nemo(DVD)
• Wax tarts from Yankee Candle
• Lucky You(perfume)
• World peace
• A tattoo
• Cute undies
• Circular knitting needles

Of course I could add to it but after it took me ten or so minutes of thinking I decided the list was probably done.

Matt’s being sick right now, poor thing.  He’s got some kind of cold that I’m sure I will have by the end of the week but whatever at least I will have him to take care of me.  🙂  Hopefully a yummy turkey dinner will set him right!

Oh, by the way…we’re having our Thanksgiving tomorrow since we’ll be at work on Thursday.  I know that seems stupid because a lot of people work on Thursday but when you do shift work life kind of halts on the days that you do work and starts back up again on your days off.  I’m thankful that I have Christmas off this year, that is what my Thanksgiving is going to be all about.

Speaking of work I have class at 8:00AM so I had better scamper off to bed myself.  Sweet dreams, taters!
