Welp I am home back in VA, safe and sound. My trip to Florida went by WAY too fast but I had a great time.

I still haven’t finished up an entry about my trip to NYC so I guess this trip’ll have to come after that. But a few highlights for now:

DisneyWorld is awesome! I want to go back and visit all of the parks sometime, I think it would make for a nice little week long vacation. I’m going to try to talk Matt into it.
The ocean down in the gulf is amazingly warm! I saw a dolphin out swimmin’, too. 🙂
You should never go so long between visits with friends. It makes saying good-bye that much harder because you start to wonder when you will see them again because it had been so long since the time before.
It is nice to come home to a boyfriend and a kitty…and a new Discover card with a 10K limit. Hot damn! Too bad it is not for spending, just for building up my credit score even more.
Did I mention how nice it was to see Matt again? 🙂 And how cute my Widget is?

Or maybe you should go as long between visits to friends, because it makes each visit that much more special and meaningful. Let me tell you right now, DO NOT LOAD UP THAT DISCOVER card. It’s easy to do with “small” purchases. You’re proud of your big limit, you think you’re trusted enough to spend that money, so you buy this and that… a little here, a little there.

Before you know it, you’re riding the limit, trying to pay it down just enough to keep from going over limit. And having a high debt-to-income ratio coupled with over-limit situations end up driving your credit score downward. Just don’t give in to the temptation. Oh and, I LOVE the Gulf. Best beaches in the world as far as I’m concerned.

Mia’s very good with her money, kids, don’t you worry. I almost said welcome back, but that’s not really true. So . . . congrats on being in VA again? 😛 Glad you had fun in Florida, I’m jealous!

aww yay you’re back! yeah, I have a credit card to help me even GET a credit score, since mine is nonexistent. I’ve just started developing a more relaxed attitude towards it, which is SCARY! lol.
