grrr…

Been without internet since Saturday sometime.  Matt bought a new router off ebay as the one we got from Comcast only lets us hook up one computer at a time…which is a pain in the butt when two net junkies live in the same house.  So thus started withdrawal…

Long story short, got our old router back from Comcast, using just one compy.  We’ll fix it.  I’m just glad to have some access to the world again.  🙂  I felt so helpless being unable to check my bank account and make sure I wasn’t late on any bills or anything like that.  And I was blocked off from all of my friends that live inside the computer!  Hehe.

Weekend was good.  Sunday I got up early (2PM) to check out some sales and what not, went grocery shopping.  Came home and woke Matt up, watched a fun thunder storm(still nothing compared to out west) and made dinner.  Watched a DVD that Matt got from his airplane club and just bummed around the rest of the night.  I went to bed pretty early since I’d gotten up after only a few hours of sleep.  Monday was Memorial Day!  Got up pretty early and bummed around a bit more.  Drove out to Woodbridge for some Famous Dave’s(yum) and then decided to go see Pirate’s.  Movie was pretty good, I liked it a lot more than the second one.  I guess we should have stayed until after the credits were done rolling as I think I missed out on something but I was tired and wanted to get home.  Tuesday…uhh…Matt and I got hair cuts and flew out to a little airport in Maryland.  It was a pretty nice flight, the day was so clear and beautiful.  Matt let me fly for a few minutes, too.  🙂  I guess if I had a list of things to do before I die I could cross out flying an airplane!  Watched Ladder 49 last night(depressing) and went to bed.

Oh, Friday night after Matt got home we drove out to Fairfax to hang out with Scott, Aren and Luc at some bar.  There were some local bands playing and one was pretty good, they reminded me of 311.  Drank some beer, made fun of drunk girls and over all had a pretty good time.  It was nice to actually have a Friday night off, it had been forever since I’d been anywhere but work on a Friday!

It’s back to work tonight, only 3 nights this week.  I have classes pretty much all day on Monday so that kinda stinks but oh well, I need to get them done and out of the way.  Not sure what else is going on this weekend, guess I will find out.  If this heat wave keeps up I am thinking I will be hitting the pool.  🙂
