good morning.

Boo.  It’s my long week so I must work tonight.  It’s kind of funny how all of you are writing about your long weekends and I’m thinking about my short weekend. 😉  Sometimes after doing shift work I’m not sure I could ever go back to an 8 hour day, I am so used to having these longer weekends and only working 3 and 4 days a week.  Sure I sacrifice lots of free time and lots of sleep when I am working but oh well, having extra days to bum around make up for it.

Speaking of sleep I haven’t really been getting much lately.  Today was very promising as I was exhausted when I got home.  I ate a couple pieces of pizza and went to bed only to wake up at 10:30 in excrutiating pain.  I wasn’t sure if I was going to puke or die.  I texted Matt and he told me that if I needed him he would take me to the hospital, I said thanks and figured I would feel better in a bit.  I hobbled into the bathroom with my gallon of water(shut up Tammy I know you’re laughing at me) and started munching on Tums.  I drank some water and sat in the bathroom for a bit waiting to see if I was going to keep all of it down.  I decided that I was and got up and went back to bed.  I fell into a very deep sleep that I rarely get into only to be plagued by nightmares.  In one of them I was in a parking lot at a school going to my car after class…and there was a guy in there murdering people as they were struggling to start their cars due to him cutting cables beforehand.  I started to sneak away and kept telling myself to please just WAKE UP because this wasn’t a cool position to be in.  I woke up terrified and rolled over after petting Widget for a bit.  I fell back asleep only to start dreaming about terrorists bombing the USA and there were planes and bombs everywhere.  I was running away from a bomb that I saw drop from a plane.  Sometimes this feels so real I have to convince myself when I wake up that it isn’t.  Yuck.

My belly is still upset and hurting but nothing like it was.  I am almost afraid to eat something but if I don’t I’ll be sorry for that later.  This is all brought on by stress but I’m not sure what stress is causing it exactly.  Work stresses me out a lot of the time but I should just be able to let that go in the morning.  Maybe it’s because I know Matt’s leaving for vacation on Tuesday and I am becoming more and more petrified of airplanes due to all of the accidents and what not lately.  I know he’s already been in his one in a million plane crash but still…

When I woke up I read Shaundra’s blog and found out that she had to put her cat Saint to sleep.  🙁  I started crying because I know how much she loved him and how much Justin loved him.  The cat was a freaking COW he was so huge but totally lovable.  I’m so sorry SBC, I know how much it hurts.  *hugs*

In other friend news Stephanie is on a hunt for a picture of a cape she saw in a magazine that H&M offered.  I live very close to an H&M and offered to go get one for her if only she had a picture to show me.  Naturally the magazine she saw it in is nowhere to be found so if anyone around reads fashion magazines please let me know!

Woo hoo, I just looked at the date today and I officially have insurance again!  After over 6 years of not having any I can finally go to a doctor and not have to pay a million dollars!  I am so happy that I can go get my blood pressure and heart checked…go to the eye doctor, to the dentist.  AHH!  I’m sure all of these things will wind up costing me a fortune but nothing compared to what I’m sure that it would have cost otherwise.

Well my blah tummy and I are off to shower and find something to eat that won’t make me feel entirely rotten.  Have a good Labor Day Weekend everyone!  Later taters.

ok let’s assume for just a moment that carrying around a gallon jug of water around the house is normal… you still drink lukewarm water! it’s not even COLD water! who likes warm water? bleck. you are wierd! 😀 lol oh and we have stopped assuming that carrying around a gallon jug of water to drink is normal. it’s not. not even a little bit. *grin* SMOOCH!

*hugs* I have a short weekend too. No rest for radio. Pictures are posted, if you’re interested.

I’m quite alright with you carrying around a gallon jug of water. I’ve been known to do it myself, on occasion, but it gets so hot in here that oftentimes the water goes bad before I finish it. And room temp water is GOOD. I have a picture of one of your gallons from when we lived together. I should send it to Tammy. Lessee. I commented at myspace already. You’re in the shower right now.Rubadubdub.

I hope your tummy feels better soon!

RYN: When I had long hair, I never used the blowdryer… I gelled it and let it curl. You might remember those days… I think you and I were reading each other before my short hair. But you’re right… I probably will look into getting some leave in conditioner too. I wonder how my hair would handle it though having the leave in conditioner and then the stuff for the heat protection. I guess we’ll find out. Yes… I LOVE soup. I was craving some creamy brocoli yesterday… That’s something I don’t make. I don’t know how yet. Thanks for your concern about Rain. It means alot. (hugs) ♥ Kel
