finally, the weekend!

So thankful that it is finally my weekend!  I have done nothing thus far and probably won’t do much for the rest of the day.  I DO need to go see Tammy and Derek’s new place though!  I am so happy that they are moving out of their apartment and into a town home.  The whole journey they were on was really rough and wild and I kept telling her it would work out – and it did.  ðŸ™‚   So now I need to go see their new home.

The past week at work was really rough for me.  Gabe was covering for Gil, our shift manager, so I was playing Supervisor AND Trainer all week.  Urgh.  Not an easy task to begin with and couple it with me being a PMS Monster and you have a recipe for an emotional wreck.  Things were not exactly 100% smooth at work either, facilities had a minor issue that affected Wets in a major way on Thursday, I was dealing with a whiney Diffusion area due to lack of test wafers(naturally all Wets’ fault) all week and trying to answer David’s(he’s my newb) questions all of the time was just TOO MUCH.

I often get tired of being the reliable one at work and this week was just pushing me over the top.  I wanted to cry pretty much all day on Friday and had even planned to go sob my eyes out in my car on my lunch break but it was too hot outside to even do that.  It was like the world was seeing just how far it could push me to the edge of the cliff to see if I’d jump off or not.  I didn’t jump but I may have lost just a touch more of my mind.  If anyone sees it please feel free to point it back in my direction, I do miss it.

I can’t wait until Widget’s new PetMate water fountain gets here…  His old one has a really crappy pump in it and it sputters and spurts ALL of the time if the water level isn’t high enough.  Widget drinks so much water I can’t seem to keep it full.  It was a good investment though Widget started drinking a lot more water.  I recommend getting one if you have a cat or a dog, they really do prefer to drink water that is ‘moving’ vs. being stagnant in a bowl all of the time.

I am kind of crampy today, bleh.  Glad that I finally did get my monthly friend, though!  This month isn’t quite as heavy as last months and the cramps haven’t been as bad either but it’s enough to be annoying.  I know, I know, TMI.  At least it wasn’t in full swing at work, it could have been worse I guess.

Been dreaming about crayons and coloring books lately.  I should either find mine(no idea where they are) or go buy some new ones.  I do miss coloring.  Can that be considered a hobby?  Coloring?  I used to love drawing pictures with crayons also…  Hmm.

I need to start baking again, I haven’t baked anything in absolutely forever.  I find myself losing a lot of my time surfing around the internet and getting completely lost while playing StarCraft II.  It’s starting to bother me a little bit, losing my time like that.  I guess maybe it’s time to pull myself away for a little while, get reconnected with reality.  Hmm again.

Okay I’m starving.  I wonder if Matt’s hungry too.

Later taters.

I love colouring. I never do it alone since I always for some reason thought it would be odd for a grown adult to colour in their spare time..not that i should care what others think…but thought i was the only adult who enjoyed colouring haha

It is so easy to pass time on the internet doing exactly nothing. I hope the next week is much easier for you. *HUG*

I heart baking. Mostly because I love to EAT what I just baked, lol. I go to allrecipes.com and they have some pretty fabulous baked goods recipes (along with everything else you could imagine). Also, I used to consider myself a pretty good color-er. I can’t draw for beans, but I can color stuff in like a pro! Lol!!

I love coloring too!! I would totally go out and buy some crayons and coloring books. It’s calming and fun and time-consuming. I had one of those emotional days yesterday. Some days are just like that. Hope you don’t feel nearly as beaten down as you did before.

the internet is a HUGE time waster. it all goes into this blackhole and you’re like, wtf? ugh.

ryn: my first quilt was posted on my facebook…and since you are a friend, you can see it there. 🙂

I am also a car cryer, I meant to say that before. Hope that things are better! RYN: Haha I am the same – I read every one of your entries, but slack off on noting them. Thanks for your advice. You’re right that he has a massive amount of stuff going on, poor guy.

RYN: The Jetta was nice. It was a little rough on the acceleration, but I kind of expect that from rentals and I doubt all Jetta’s have that problem. It was also a little too fancy for my taste, but that’s only because I had never driven anything newer than my ’99 Mustang. 😛

i just wanted to tell you that over the past few weeks, your notes have meant so much to me. you’ve been objective but kind, and you really try to put yourself in my shoes, and you give great insight. i truly, truly, truly appreciate it. thank you <3
