does it smell like potatoe chips in here?

It’s funny – I didn’t want to over load anyone with pictures of Widget(and believe me we have taken a lot of him) but I have people asking for me to post some!  He is getting HUGE!  I know it won’t look like much to anyone else but sometimes I just look at him and I ask him when he grew so much because it seems like it’s happened over night.  Of course he never answers me(doesn’t want to share his secret) and just stares at me with his big eyes.  Widget keeps straining his little leg lately, I guess he plays too hard on it and then does a big jump and bam he’ll cry once and limps off to his cat carrier to chill out for a while.  It makes me sad.  🙁  But other than that Widgemon is all good.

I got up around 3:30ish today after giving up on going back to sleep due to a massive headache that is still presently throbbing.  Checked my e-mail, was happy to see that my Great Aunt Helen e-mailed me back saying that she and my Great Aunt Jean got the cards that I sent them.  These two old biddies(hee hee) are my (deceased)Gramma’s sisters and live up near Buffalo, NY.  Aunt Jeanne just moved into my Aunt Helen’s this past June, she was living in Henderson, NV.  Anywho, I’d like to take a few days and fly up to the area and spend some time with them, Matt’s never really met any of my extended family and I would like him to meet them.  Maybe we’ll get a chance to get up there, we have a couple of beds waiting for us if we ever do!

I went into the bedroom to see if Matt was up and that he was.  *wink wink nudge nudge*  Nice way to start the day if I do say so myself.  After showering we wandered down to the mall and did some shopping since it was tax free weekend for back to school on clothing purchases under $100.00.  I bought 2 new pairs of Levi’s, a blue and green striped polo shirt(I love polo shirts!), 5 pairs of undies from VS(I got conned into signing up for the Angel’s Card too, dammit.), my favorite bubble bath from BBW(eucalyptus spearmint) and I found Memoirs of a Geisha for 5 bucks at Target.  Oh!  I also bought Stand By Me on DVD!  Matt pointed it out to me while he was amidst mocking the movie(which he’s NEVER seen) and I told him I had to have it.  Now, just to force him to watch it…  🙂  After shopping we hit up Chili’s for chips and salsa and some shared fajitas.  Came home, cleaned up…did laundry…took a bubble bath.   And here I am.

Need to get to bed sometime early tonight, I plan on being a normal person tomorrow and actually getting up sometime before noon.  Matt’s got a list of things he needs to get done so that’ll be more inspiration for us to get up earlier than 4:00PM.  Ho-hum. 

I feel like being a picture whore so I’m thinking tomorrow will be full of picture taking.  I’d better go charge up the batteries!
