Christmas Eve.

Christmas Eve already!  It is amazing how quickly this snuck up on me.  Before I knew it I was on an airplane flying out here to Arizona and now my visit is about half over.  To this I feel sad but also happy.  I miss my boys.  It is a double edged sword though, when I am at home in VA I miss my family but when I am out here in AZ I miss my Matt and now my Widget.  🙂

My trip out here was alright, I guess.  It was raining pretty bad on the way to the airport so I was wondering if that was going to delay my flight at all.  Turns out we were delayed due to other passengers being late and the luggage taking forever and a day to get out to the plane.  We flew into Lost Wages on time(haha, had the best pilot ever) after a bumpy ride over.  We were about ready to touch down when WHOOOOOOOSH!  We took off again.  It was like a touch and go almost!  I was freaking out wondering what the hell was going on because you just don’t DO that on jets.  So Captain Steve(told you he was awesome) finally got on the intercom and apologized for the excitement stating that the tail wind was making it a little difficult for him to land safely so he was going for a different approach.  When I told Matt about it after I’d gotten home here to Kingman he chuckled and said that it was probably a last minute runway change.  Whatever it was I wanted to get down on my hands and knees to kiss the ground once I deboarded the plane.  Pretty sure this validated my fear of flying more so than it already had been.

So far haven’t done a whole lot here at home, been feeling kind of poopy due to lack of eating any kind of good for me food.  Not that I eat super healthy anyway.  I’ve been neglecting my water intake which is probably the main reason I feel like crap.  Blah.  I should go suck down a gallon of water right now and see if that helps.  I’m not sleeping much either, I hate to say it but I am so used to sleeping with Matt it’s hard for me to sleep by myself now.  I don’t have my teddy bear either so I think that is contributing also.  Wah wah wah whine whine whine boo freaking hoo.  😀

Last Sunday night Matt and I went on a dinner cruise up and down the Potomac River for his office party.  I stole a picture from one of his co-workers.  Ignore the stupid look on my face and check out that genuine smile on Matt’s!  I can never get him to really smile in pictures with me. 🙂

Upon looking on this my mother declared that Matt and I would make cute babies.  Oh my.

Ho-hum.

Well I’m thirsty so I think I’m going to go find some water.  Merry Christmas Eve to all of you crazy cats, hope you are having fun.  🙂
