Well since I can’t sleep, I guess I shall update.  I am going to be hurting all day today from this…oy.  I blame myself entirely, though.  I do Tim a favor and wind up depriving myself of sleep.  I had better get LOTS of Wookie noises at work this week!  🙂

Okay so Saturday ended up a-okay.  After me sleeping 3 hours, waking up to find out there was no time for Splash Down(BOO HISS) and being in total grouch mode I figured the night was going to suck ass.  Matt and I got into the shower and I explained how grouchy I was feeling and he told me that was okay since I wasn’t acting grouchy.  Don’t you just love him?!  He’s such a jerk sometimes.  🙂  So we get all dressed and stand around trying to figure out what to eat.  I tell him it’s his turn to pick since I ALWAYS pick where we eat at.  I simply suggested that I wanted soup of some sort so we ended up at Olive Garden since I love their soup the best.  We ate, I drank a Coke and a glass of water and went to Walsh’s hotel to pick him up and then over to Aren’s.

We didn’t get to Nissan Pavillion until after 7 when the concert was supposed to start but that wound up being fine and dandy since the Goo Goo Dolls didn’t get on stage until 8.  Johnny thanked everyone for getting there on time, haha.  I was really surprised at how good the Goo Goo Dolls sounded, I’m not really sure why.  Drank a couple of beers, went to pee and then the Counting Crows came on.  I think a majority of the people at the show came to see them and it was for good reason.  They were really good and I have to admit I was slightly disappointed…they didn’t play American Girls OR Accidentally In Love which is my favorite!  All in all it was a good time, half of the time Aren and Walsh were "getting beer" which I think translated into Aren hitting on girls.  They were both pretty drunk by the end of the show and at least I know they had a good time concerning that.  Matt and I didn’t drink a whole lot which was a-okay by me, I was entirely too tired to get drunk anyway.  Plus I would have had to pee that many more times.

Oh, one thing I really liked about Counting Crows is that they were all about telling people about the charities set up around the venue and that everyone needs to get out there and vote this year.  I can tell they actually care which is more than I can say for a lot of famous people out there.

I didn’t get any good pictures really from the concert…it’s hard to do that when you have lawn seats and a camera phone but here’s what I have!  You’re going to laugh…

And for kicks the big gross bug that was chilling on my leg while I was sitting outside on my lunch break at work while talking to my mom.  This was after I freaked out and flicked it off me, hung up with my mom and had Danny force the bug into better lighting so that I could take a picture.

I don’t have a clue as to what the hell kind of bug it is all I know is that it was well over an inch long and at least an inch wide.  EW.

So yesterday I slept a little more than 3 hours which was nice.  Went to a Thai place for lunch with Matt and a few guys from the install and a couple of his regular co-workers.  It was pretty good, I have left overs in the fridge and maybe I’ll eat them sometime today but I will more likely give them to Matt to eat since I am not sure when I will eat them.  After lunch I passed out for a couple of more hours before my half shift at work.  Was in bed by 2 this morning and just woke up at 4 and couldn’t fall back asleep.  I have a long day of sitting in a classroom and doing paperworky stuff ahead of me so I think by the time tonight rolls around I’m not going to have much energy for Matt and Jane’s meet and greet at TGIFriday’s.  Maybe I’ll get a nap in there somewhere today…  🙂

Can I just say that there are WAY too many Matt’s in the world?!  😀

Can I also say that Widget adorable?  He’s sitting behind me purring away. 

And on that note I shall take my leave and go crawl into bed with Matt for another 20 minutes before the alarm goes off and it’s really time to wake up and face the world.  Later taters, have a swell day!
