bad mom.

So my cat finally did it.

He jumped off of the porch.  Or fell off, not sure which since neither Matt nor I were outside to see him do it.  I’m just thankful we have grass/ground under us and not cement.  We live on the 3rd floor…  I just hope he doesn’t have any internal injuries, he’s just laying on the carpet.  Nothing is broken that I can tell but what if it is internal?  If he is still acting this way in the morning I’m going to take him to the vet.

I feel like a bad mom.

Mostly just posting for my photo a day thing.

My new winter hat:

Say hello to my shower.  And I’m not wearing pink lipstick, my lips are always super pink after I eat anything salty(popcorn from a tin).  And I hate my teeth.  I want to get a retainer so bad just for that one stupid out of place tooth.  And I want to get my teeth whitened or bleached or something.  Ugh, I hate my teeth!

Tammy and Amy – feel free to knit me as many fun/cute winter hats as you like, I can never have enough beanies. 😀

I keep looking over to make sure Widget is still breathing.  I’m not sure what I would do if he died. 🙁

Okay I’m going to go.  Later taters.

I’m sure he’s doing okay. If he’s really hurt, I’m sure he would be mewling in pain. 🙂 Nice hat. 😀

poor widget! 🙁 I’m sure he’ll be okay. Like Pixel said, he’d be making noise if he were in pain. knitty ho. :p

haha your shower is so clean! I’m getting my teeth whitened soon too, I know how you feel. I had 3 years of braces to fix mine!

I hope he’s ok!! (Even though he doesn’t like me!)

Ahh that hat is cute! I need a new winter hat this year!

poor baby….i hate when things like that happen….

i think you should definitely take him to the vet no matter how he is acting. cats that are injured don’t always howl in pain. often times they become reclusive, and they also may purr (purring is not always a positive sign). it’s been a day or two – is he eating?

I am SO afraid to open the door to our balcony because my cat is psycho enough to try and jump off of it (we live on the third floor too). This entry has just reaffirmed my decision to keep it closed. And you’re not a bad mom, Widget is a curious kitty…that’s all. 🙂

Gah, I live on the third floor as well and am always peeking after the cat and making sure he’s not poking his head thru/under the railing. I know someone whose cat went off the 9thfloor and was just fine.—–»
