Back from the dead.

Wow, I never thought I would see this place again!  It makes me happy I did not delete my diary prior to the website going down, it has been crazy going down memory lane checking out entries from years and years ago.  I found my way to Open Diary in 2000 from bored.com, and wrote fairly regularly until the demise of the site though I dropped off writing toward the end due to site reliability issues.

So much has changed!  When I left OD I was living in Virginia, working at Micron and alternating between day/night shift.  I was living with a co-worker, Junior/David, and his 2 naked cats.  I moved out after living with him for about a year and into a 2 bedroom apartment with my brother, Pete, and our respective felines, Widget and Logan.  Pete and I stayed in that apartment for about 2 years before we both moved out and on, he bought a house and now lives with his girlfriend, Anne, and have adopted a brother for Logan, his name is Junkrat.  I moved in with my now fiancé, Michael, into his house in Bealeton.  Not a year later we decided to move across country to Boise, ID, where we are now waiting to close on our house here.  We brought our fur babies with us, Widget is still around and Mike’s min-pin, Tyson, we are a happy little family of four.  Mike is still with Micron and I am currently unemployed despite trying to stay with the company, things just were not meant to be.  Leading a life of leisure isn’t so bad. 😉

Lots of life changes this year, I look forward to writing about them and having them documented here.
